Duties Included: Duties Included: Wrote and received WEL grant for the Human Trafficking course to go to the Freedom Center in Cincinnati, OH to view the new Human Trafficking wing. SABBATICAL, Campbellsville University, Campbellsville, KY. Duties Included: Conducted a qualitative, phenomenological study to better understand what social workers/service providers were experiencing and their realities of working with trafficking survivors, especially case management, in their country and/or region. Eighteen in-depth, semistructured interviews were conducted from a span of 11 countries (United States, England, Scotland, Ireland, France, Germany, Italy, Greece, Cambodia, Uganda, and Thailand). Every step that was done ensured dependability and trustworthiness of the data and followed phenomenological principles (including epoche). Currently writing a Human Trafficking Case Management and Assessment textbook.

Duties Included: Wrote and received a Faculty-led study abroad grant ($5,000) to incorporate service learning and international experience (Tanzania, East Africa) in the social work program. Duties Included: Wrote and received WEL grant for the Global Policies and Social Programming MSW course to take a service learning trip to Costa Rica for Summer Duties Included: Wrote and received WEL grant for the World Problems and Advocacy MSW course for an online global simulation activity, ICONS. Duties Included: Wrote the grant proposal to the Consortium for Global Education for start up monies to implement an International Class into the social work curriculum. Received December 2004 as Principle Investigator ($10,085 for Summer 2005). HIV/AIDS Prevention Education Program Evaluator, Tanzania, East Africa. Duties Included: Created evaluation tool that incorporates the unique Teachings of the IMARA Foundation; implemented two pilot evaluations; and analyzed data. Graduate Research Associate; The College of Social Work and The John Glenn Center of Learning Excellence, The Ohio State University, Columbus, OH. Duties Included: Conducted evaluation of After School Programs in conjunction with the United Way and the City of Columbus; collected, maintained, cleaned, and analyzed data; supervised and mentored graduate and undergraduate students; taught statistical analysis to undergraduate and graduate students; developed and contributed to professional reports; and networked within the Franklin County community (Principal Investigator, Dawn Anderson-Butcher, Ph.D.).
