DEVELOPING OUR 10 YEAR PLAN Work with the Ohio Facilities Construction Commission (OFCC) since 2014 Work with Decision Insite to plan for enrollment over the next 10 years Completed assessments on all 12 buildings Reviewed enrollment projections twice in the past 18 months Infrastructure, condition of the facilities Last Master Plan done 10 years ago
INCREASING ENROLLMENT Potential to add 1,500 students by 2025 That has a DRAMATIC effect on planning Has increased what we are able to do More of high school project funded by the state and not locally Additional square footage on buildings Funding to build larger schools
PHASE I SECONDARY SCHOOLS West Clermont High School On track to open the fall of ,500 students eye to the future HealthPlex community based school
HealthPlex Theater Commons Kitchen Aux. Gyms Main Gym Main Entrance Weights, Wrestling Pool Student Parking Academic Wing with Courtyard

PHASE I - COSTS Total investment for kids: $104 million Funded through Tax Incentive Financing agreement with Union Township Balance funded through Permanent Improvement funds No additional tax payer dollars
PHASE II ELEMENTARY SCHOOLS Working with OFCC to revisit Master Plan Board will be asked to approve new Master Plan in May Funding could come as soon as July 2016 Expect that to be approximately $44 million
CONDITION OF OUR BUILDINGS Building Brantner Summerside Willowville Clough Pike Merwin Holly Hill Amelia Withamsville-Tobasco Scope Demo/Abate Demo/Abate Demo/Abate Renovations Renovations Renovations No Action No Action Scope indicates OFCC recommended action
PHASE II ELEMENTARY SCHOOLS Worked through multiple scenarios Use of Decision Insite Enrollment planning program OFCC Assessments Look for the most impactful plan that stays within our state credits
PHASE II ELEMENTARY SCHOOLS Replace both Summerside and Willowville with new 750 student elementary schools Where we project the most growth over the next decade Completely renovate Clough Pike Add new gymnasium Close Brantner Elementary with students moving to the new Summerside, Clough or WT
PHASE II ELEMENTARY SCHOOLS Based on current enrollment projections, this would leave us with approximately 400 open seats, districtwide, by Phase II Plan comes in $1.4 million over anticipated credits Reduce costs by utilizing existing building design (AE) and constructing two buildings at the same time Balance can be absorbed within the General Fund Budget
10 YEAR FACILITY PLAN SUMMARY New WCHS $100,000,000 Renovated WCMS 4,000,000 Replace Summerside 18,000,000 Replace Willowville 18,000,000 Renovated Clough 9,000,000 $149,000,000 Without asking for any additional funding from the community!
PHASE III MERWIN & HOLLY HILL Merwin and Holly Hill are in the best condition Will work on internal renovations to begin update Need approximately $17.5 million to completely renovate per OFCC recommendations
10 YEAR FACILITY PLAN SUMMARY We would need to ask for about.75 mill bond issue to renovate Merwin and Holly Hill to complete the entire district. Not ready to make that decision now Need to see where we stand with Phase I and II
NEXT STEPS - TIMELINE Collect Feedback between now and April 11 Must send our thoughts to the OFCC by April 15 BOE approve new Master Plan on May 24 Wait to hear from the OFCC this summer
