Build logical and physical data mappings from heterogeneous sources to one or more Oracle database targets Apply knowledge of information technology and associated methods to attain project and/or business unit objectives Verify that each piece of the Enrollment Management Suite (Operational Data Store, Enterprise Data Warehouse, Recruiting and Admissions Performance delivered dashboards) is operating correctly and work with DBAs and report writers Supervise Cognos Administrator and ODS Administrator Design Cognos training materials and provide training Train SunGard Higher Education clients (68 in 31 states and Canada) on how to use various reporting tools (including Cognos, Crystal Reports, Argos, Discoverer, SQL) to access data from the Operational Data Store (ODS) and create reports from Banner Finance, HR, Student, Financial Aid and Advancement Conduct Strategic Assessments at client sites to determine the current state of reporting and prepare a written report on how to create an environment which makes best use of the ODS including suggestions on how to design and deploy enterprise solutions in a technical environment Teach clients how to configure, analyze, design, develop and maintain the ODS metadata Recommend the means to develop processes and documentation around the flow of data and data standardization and best practices

3 PAGE 3 Teach ODS administrators how to use the ODS Administrative User Interface to freeze data sets, publish metadata, create display rules, read control reports, schedule ETL processes Develop report specifications and map data from Banner to the ODS Develop client training materials Train new SunGard Higher Education team members Collect and link data, establish data quality, analyze data with statistical techniques, identify comparative institutional data, access data via internet, access student information system data, collect and track longitudinal data, complete external surveys, coordinate submission of IPEDS reports, develop enrollment projections, seek cooperation from colleagues, pay attention to deadlines.
