Coverdell Fellows program. The Peace Corps Paul D. Coverdell Fellows program attracts exceptioal studets after they have completed their i-coutry service through the Peace Corps. Those selected become a itegral part of the SPEA Service Corps Program, i which Fellows work at desigated public ad oprofit orgaizatios ad participate i professioal developmet sessios. To complemet their Service Corps resposibilities to the public or oprofit orgaizatio i which they are placed, Coverdell Fellows also help orgaize evets that aim to promote cultural awareess, icludig SPEA s aual celebratio of Peace Corps Week ad studet-led iteratioal iitiatives. Coverdell Fellows, who must be Retured Peace Corps Voluteers, are selected o a competitive basis accordig to their academic record, letters of referece, persoal statemet, ad résumé.
