14 THE MINISTRY PROGRAM STAFF Cythia Lider I received the MA ad DMi degrees from the Diviity School, rich preparatio for the parish miistry, hospice chaplaicy, ad cliical psychotherapy practice that challeged ad fed me (ad my three childre) for the ext 20 years of my professioal life i Orego s Willamette Valley. I retured to Chicago i 2002 to serve as director of miistry studies, work that combies my iterests i teachig, metorig, ad thikig about the art of religious leadership i our cultural cotext of great diversity ad rapid chage. I advise MDiv studets, teach preachig ad pastoral care, maitai a small cliical caseload i a dowtow psychotherapy group, cosult with pastors ad cogregatios, ad coduct arrative research o idetity, selfhood, ad multiplicity i pastoral practice. I am ordaied i the Christia Church (Disciples of Christ); here i Hyde Park I m a active layperso i a local Episcopal church. While directig Gilead, Wesley also bega traiig as a CPE Supervisor ad served as both parish pastor ad hospital chaplai o the South Side of Chicago. Wesley s iterests i theology, storytellig, ad laguage are also expressed creatively through art.
