2 General Knowledge Program Overview This activity is the 10 th regional conference held by the Salim El-Hoss Bioethics and Professionalism Program at AUBFM/MC in collaboration with Faculté des Sciences Juridiques, Politiques et Sociales de Tunis, UNESCO, the Institut Pasteur de Tunis, and BiNWIAR. It aims at bringing together all those concerned to explore various ethical and practical issues related to aging Arab women. Objectives As a result of attending this conference, the participant will be able to do the following: Present myths of how Arab aging women are portrayed in the Arab region. Unravel facts behind the portrayal of aging Arab women in the Arab world. Come up with recommendations on how to tackle/improve the situation. Present how aging Arab women are portrayed from different perspectives: art, religion, culture, law, and ethics among others. Target Audience This conference is designed for educators, psychologists, lawyers, policy makers, artists, ethicists, and all people who are interested in issues related to Arab women.
