1 2018 Dental Student Scholarship Scholarship Guidelines Purpose, Description, and Objectives: The Dental Student Scholarship Program is designed to recognize dental students who are strong academically; and who demonstrate outstanding promise in leadership, public service/volunteerism, and/or research. In 2018 the will award up to seven scholarships valued at up to $20,000 each through its Dental Student Scholarship Program. The scholarships are available to all eligible dental students (must be a U.S. citizen) enrolled in accredited U.S. dental schools. Eligibility Criteria: In order to be eligible for consideration for these scholarships, an applicant must: Be a U.S. citizen; Be enrolled full time in the second year of study at the time of application, in a U.S. CODA accredited dental school; Have a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.25 based on a 4.0 scale. In order for an applicant to be considered for scholarship support, applications must be complete and submitted by 11:59 pm CT on Friday, February 2, Scholarship Agreement: Each scholarship recipient will be required to sign a Scholarship Agreement consenting to the terms of the award and confirming that all information submitted is accurate Additional Information: Students will be notified of the scholarship status in April.
