The project encompasses two city blocks and will serve as a shopping and dining destination to greater Downtown Baltimore and the wave of residential development taking place in the City s booming West Side. Located just blocks from Baltimore s famed Inner Harbor and the City s professional sports stadiums and arena, the project sits at the nexus of some of the region s most vibrant neighborhoods. Over the past decade, Baltimore s West Side district has undergone a massive transformation, thanks much in part to the development of ajor League Baseball s Camden Yards, the National Football League s &T Bank Stadium and the efforts of the University of aryland, which operates its medical and law schools on what has become a vibrant, sprawling campus. A seemingly endless amount of redevelopment has followed suit, bringing thousands of new residents, office workers, students and visitors to the area. Once known for its collection of department stores and shopping attractions, the neighborhood is fast returning to its roots and has also developed vibrant residential and cultural components. Lexington Square will feature more than 300,000 square feet of retail space in three stories, all at the base of more than 400 residential apartments.
