10 Grand Rapids Public Schools Grand Rapids Public Schools (GRPS) is Michigan s fourth largest public school district. It serves more than 17,000 students. The student population represents nearly 70 countries with 49 different languages spoken. A majority of children come from homes where the parents did not attend college.

20 Long Term Study Do the students whom attended shape camp enroll in college? If so, do they pursue GVSU and a health professions career? This data is yet to be collected from our first cohort (2010) whom will graduate from high school in 2014

21 Quotes from Participants Students: Thank you so much for allowing me to come to this amazing camp. I learned so much cool stuff I never knew. What I like most about shape Camp was being able to explore all of the interesting health careers, one of which I hope to pursue. Parents: VERY well organized! Instructors and volunteers did a super job. The camp was the highlight of her summer. Daughter loved it it was perfect! Thank you for transportation, it was a Godsend.
