Number of degrees awarded per year The number of degrees awarded per year has ranged from 6 ( ) to 13 ( ). Degrees awarded Graduation Rates Ten-year graduation rates for the 2005, 2006, and 2007 cohorts were 75%, 62%, and 64%, respectively. Employment profile The university does not currently track the career placement of graduates, so we are only able to provide general areas of employment without specific numbers. Graduates have found employment in academia, industry/professional, and government fields. We plan to implement a system within the next year to survey program graduates. The survey will collect information about graduates experiences while in the program and their subsequent career placements. We will use the information to evaluate current program features and inform future program changes to better meet student needs. 5. Admissions criteria Each Educational Leadership doctoral applicant is required to submit an online application, GRE scores (quantitative, verbal, and analytical writing); 4 letters of reference with two from individuals that hold doctoral degrees; and an electronic portfolio containing an introductory letter, vita or resume, and a statement of purpose. The admission process comprises three stages. Stage 1: Screening process - includes submission of all appropriate documents by the deadline. Stage 2: Evaluation process - personal interviews with all candidates. Stage 3: Selection stage - During stage 3, the admissions committee uses a rubric to score each candidate s application packet to determine the applicants most appropriate for admissions to the doctoral program. No specific cut-off scores are used. Admission to the program is full; there is no conditional or probationary status. 6.
