Website Significant Research/Contributions: I have been actively engaged in the field of Library and Information Science (LIS) Research since In my research, I have focused upon the various problems facing the libraries and implementation of technology based LIS services in the libraries. The rapid advancements in information communication technologies have greatly transformed the traditional concept of libraries. The traditional processes of organizing, retrieving, disseminating and managing the information are rapidly being replaced by new methods and techniques using sophisticated information technologies that updating knowledge and skills in professional education is becoming increasingly important as well as a constant challenge. 2 P a g e

In many of my articles, I have forwarded suggestions how new technology-based services can be offered using the ICT applications and how the digital library and library networks can be formed.
