3 About LSAT Law School Admission Test (LSAT)-India is a paper-pencil test conducted across the country by Law School Admission Council (LSAC). The test is conducted to shortlist aspirants for admission in undergraduate and postgraduate level law programmers in various law schools in India. LSAT is conducted to get admission in the following programmers: 5 year Integrated LLB Program: After class 12, Students can apply for any of these 5 year courses. BA. LLB B.COM LLB BBA LLB

4 3 year LLB Program: 3 Year LLB programme is for candidates who have completed graduation. After Graduation (Right After College), students who aspire to pursue career in Law can apply for LSAT. LSAT (Law School Admission Test) Entrance Training LexHawk Academy (LHA) primarily trains aspiring students to crack CLAT (Common law admission test), an entrance examination to pursue their career in the field of Law.

5 The coaching is given in various time spans ranging from yearly to monthly with class room training, assignments, online support and study materials. On taking this training, the students will not only be able to clear the entrance tests but also are trained to face the LLB tests in their selected courses. 6 Classroom Training Programme for LSAT 2019 (one year) For whom it is appropriate? o o Students who are currently studying Class XII and going to write board exams in March All final year under graduate students who will complete their under graduation in April 2019 can register for the same. How the Course is taught? Lecture cum mock tests will be conducted till the end of the Training program (LSAT 2019).

7 Classes will be on Saturdays and Sundays till January 2019 followed by mock exams. Students will be given intensive training on Legal reasoning, general awareness, current affairs, logical reasoning and reading comprehension. Each lecture is followed by a 15 minutes test to assess the students' performance and to provide ideas to improve both analytical and logical reasoning skills in order to enhance critical thinking which is the primary need of a lawyer. 8 Fast Track Programme for LSAT 2019 (One Month) For whom it is appropriate? o Students who are currently studying Class XII and going to write board exams in March o All final year under graduate students who will complete their under graduation in April 2019 can register for the same. How the Course is taught? Classes will be on all days from April 2019 to May Duration of the course will be for one month.

9 Class room and week end assessment tests will be given periodically to assess the student s performance. Course Fee: 15,000 LSAT SYLLABUS The LSAT India is meant to help anyone with good critical thinking skills. So, there are no questions designed to assess prior legal knowledge, no questions requiring mathematical knowledge and no questions on current affairs or grammar.

10 The LSAT India breaks critical thinking skills down into three main types: logical reasoning, analytical reasoning, and reading comprehension. Since the first of these types is most predictive of success in law school, there are two sections of logical reasoning questions in the LSAT. There is also one section each of analytical reasoning and reading comprehension questions, which contribute to the predictive validity of the test. Analytical Reasoning Questions - These questions measure the ability to understand a structure of relationships and to draw logical conclusions about that structure. The test taker is asked to reason deductively from a set of statements and rules or principles that describe relationships among persons, things, or events. Analytical Reasoning questions reflect the kinds of complex analyses that a law student performs in the course of legal problem solving.

11 Logical Reasoning Questions These questions assess the ability to analyze, critically evaluate, and complete arguments as they occur in ordinary language. Each Logical Reasoning question requires the test taker to read and comprehend a short passage, then answer a question about it. The questions are designed to assess a wide range of skills involved in thinking critically, with an emphasis on skills that are central to legal reasoning. These skills include drawing well-supported conclusions, reasoning by analogy, determining how additional evidence affects an argument, applying principles or rules, and identifying argument flaws. Reading Comprehension Questions These questions measure the ability to read, with understanding and insight, examples of lengthy and complex materials similar to those commonly encountered in law school.

12 The Reading Comprehension section contains four sets of reading questions, each consisting of a selection of reading material, followed by four to nine questions that test reading and reasoning abilities. LSAT PATTERN LSAT India is a paper-and-pencil test comprising 200 questions.
