Boston University Department of Sociology OTHER RELEVANT EXPERIENCE Project Officer- Panel of Recognized International Market Experts in Finance August 2012-September 2013 P.R.I.M.E. Finance stands for the Panel of Recognized International Market Experts in Finance, an innovative collaboration launched in January The project was established to help resolve, and to assist judicial systems in the resolution of disputes concerning complex financial transactions. P.R.I.M.E. Finance has the support of key international regulatory bodies and is complementary to the on-going financial market regulatory reform process. As project officer I was responsible for organizing and implementing projects in the three key areas of operation within P.R.I.M.E. Finance: 1. Dispute resolution services, including arbitration, mediation and the provision expert opinions, determinations and risk assessment 2. Judicial training and education of judges in the developing world on the complex financial disputes pertaining to derivatives 3. The compilation of a central database of international precedents and source materials relating to Derivatives Trading and the ISDA Master Agreement 4. Planned, fundraised and organized the P.R.I.M.E. Finance Annual Conference, an event sponsored by the majority of Magic Circle firms and representing the top Jurists, lawyers and scholars on High Finance and Derivatives trading law. Field and Policy Director- Mike Williams for Congress (D) Connecticut Fifth District March 2011-September 2011 Responsible for co-managing 4 full time staff and a volunteer team responsible for outreach to the voting public. Authored the campaign s field strategy, which endeavored to contact 70,000 voters by May Recruited over 150 volunteers for the campaign. Raised over 1/3rd of the total funds for the 1st reporting quarter of the campaign through contacts and events created and managed by myself. Responsible for planning events for the campaign, and performing advance work for events. Organized several fundraisers in both London and New York, and performed advanced work for an event in Los Angeles. Acted as speechwriter, authoring the candidates announcement address. I also authored much of the candidate s policy, specifically regarding job creation and the environment. Left the campaign to pursue a Master s Degree at the London School of Economics.
