During the House, new APhA-ASP Chapters will receive their charter, recipients of the APhA-ASP PharmFlix Video Contest will be selected, and delegates will debate and vote upon the 2018 proposed resolutions. The APhA-ASP National President, Michael Murphy, will also address the Academy. APhA-ASP Chapter Delegates must arrive by 2:30 pm for check-in and to receive delegate materials. APhA-ASP Chapter Officers will have the opportunity to hone their leadership skills and learn more about their new role in the Academy. All APhA-ASP Chapter Officers are required to attend. 7 In the final session of the APhA-ASP House of Delegates, the recipient of the APhA Good Government Student Pharmacist of the Year will be honored, students will debate and vote on any remaining proposed resolutions and new business items, and elect the APhA-ASP National Executive Committee. The session will close with the address of the incoming APhA-ASP National President, Nimit Jindal. All APhA-ASP members are welcome at this popular, informal reception preceding the APhA-ASP Awards Celebration. No ticket is required to attend the reception but attendees are asked to purchase a $25 APhA-PAC souvenir cup, which includes 2 beverage tickets. Relax and visit with fellow APhA-ASP members before the Awards Celebration! Tickets can be purchased through the registration process, at the Advocacy Booth on Main Street, and at the door. Proceeds benefit APhA-PAC. Join us as we celebrate the talent of student pharmacists from across the nation, the leadership of Deans and faculty, and recognize the achievements of your APhA-ASP chapters. The Chapter Achievement Awards program is supported by a grant from Walgreens. During the APhA ASP National Patient Counseling Competition (NPCC), chapter representatives from every school and college of pharmacy will participate in preliminary rounds of competition on Friday and Saturday. The top 10 finalists will compete in a final round of competition on Sunday. The 2018 NPCC winner, along with the top 10 finalists, will be recognized at the APhA ASP Awards Celebration on Sunday evening. All NPCC events take place at the Omni.
