Oversee and evaluate the development and implementation of student organization, renewal process, fiscal process, travel process, student organization leader training programs (forming a student group, risk management, student travel, etc.), and co-curricular leadership programs (FLO, SLIiC, Leadership TAMIU, and TAMIU Trailblazers). Plan, implement, and evaluate co-curricular programs which involve all TAMIU students as a means of increasing student involvement through cultural awareness, school pride, and knowledge acquisition. Use emerging technology to promote SOLE programs and services. Answer questions from students and other constituents regarding student activities and involvement opportunities and procedures. Supervision of professional (4) and student staff (4), as well as volunteers. Managed financial resources (~$300K) for Student Association and Student Organizations. Management of SOLE departmental budgets (~$250K). Advise United Greek Council (UGC), National Pan-Hellenic Council (NPHC) & Professional Greek Council (PGC). Promote commitment to diverse membership in all sororities and fraternities while cultivating strong relationships between the Panhellenic, Interfraternity, and the historically black, Latinx, Multicultural, Native American, and Asian American fraternities and Sororities. Develop and facilitate the Multicultural Greek Leadership Summit for 300 participants. Coordinate all expansion efforts for the CFSL, including 6 inter-fraternity chapters and 10 multicultural organizations. Event management for all sororities and fraternities, including large-scale programming. Management of Multicultural Greek Fund ($25,000) to boost programming efforts of multicultural Greek organizations. Develop and facilitate leadership, educational programs and outreach activities for individual chapters, the Greek community, and other campus entities assisting in the development of Greek-affiliated students. Assist individual chapter programming officers in obtaining programming resources, development of chapter educational goals, and the use of the appropriate data tracking methods. 1
2 Facilitate training in interpersonal skills and leadership, chapter management; presentations to individual chapter groups and leadership workshops and seminars. Collaborate in the development and execution of curriculum for academic courses and leadership retreats and programs. Manage the CFSL strategic planning process for , including vision, mission, and strategic goals. Facilitate Council for Advancement of Standards (CAS) Standards review for CFSL and Multicultural Student Services. Develop annual accreditation program for all fraternities and sororities, as well as the annual council accreditation program through AFLV, leading to several awards, including Council of the Year, Pinnacle Award for Strategic Growth, and the Kaleidoscope Award for Innovative Program. Collect and maintain accurate demographic, statistical, and academic performance information regarding Greek Life; conduct departmental assessment on issues relevant to Greek organizations and student development. Assist with the University Approved Housing application process. Supervision of student staff and volunteers. Serve on campus and regional committees including the Student Involvement Excellence Committee and Multicultural Student Services Community Relations Committee.
