5 What is your role? Sign out donation envelopes Advertise CROP Hunger Walk Recruit walkers Provide instructions to walkers Ensure envelopes are handed in Complete at the walk Incomplete at the walk Unused 5

6 What should you do? Estimate number of walkers and sign out an appropriate number of envelopes filling in the Sign-Up form. Write South DuPage CROP Walk and date and time of the walk on the front of each envelope. Write your contact details at the bottom of the inside sheet. When you hand out each envelope, record the envelope number with the name, phone and address of the walker on the recruiter s packet. Bring the packet with unused envelopes to the walk. 6

7 What should the walkers do? Sign the STATEMENT OF CONSENT on the envelope. If they are under 18, ask a parent or guardian to sign as well. Fill in the name, address, and amount of all those who sponsor them. Put the money (cash and/or checks) in the envelope. Bring the envelope to the walk. If they have collected all the pledges: Seal the envelope and hand it in. If they haven't collected all the pledges: Check against all sponsors that have paid. Add up the money collected. Hand in the money and the top sheet. Collect the rest of the money and hand in the envelope as soon as possible. 7

9 Donation Envelopes We need to account for all donation envelopes Empty envelopes should be destroyed Please contact those who sign envelopes out but don t walk Send me their envelope numbers

10 It is possible to register on the internet in order to receive credit card pledges online. You can do this in addition to or instead of collecting donations by hand. 1. Visit the South DuPage CROP Hunger Walk Web Page Click on Sign Up Online Donations 3. Click on I want to Start a Team to represent your organization. 4. Choose a name for your team and complete the registration. 5. Tell your recruits that they can join your team. 6. friends and relatives asking for online donations.

12 Panda Express Fundraiser Download the flyer from Present it at the Ogden Avenue Panda Express from 12:00 PM - 9:00 PM on September 20 and 20% of your purchase will be donated to Church World EVENT FOR: CHURCH WORLD SERVICE SOUTH DUPAGE CROP WALK EVENT DATE Sunday, September 20, 2015 EVENT TIME 12:00 PM - 9:00 PM AT THIS PANDA LOCATION Hwy 34 & Williams Downers Grve Mkt 74 Ogden Ave. Downers Grove, IL (p) Participating fundraiser guests are required to present a valid fundraiser flyer (hard copy or smart phone) with each order to receive credit for the fundraiser. Flyers may not be distributed inside or within vicinity of restaurant including, without limitation to, the restaurant parking lot before or during your fundraiser. Panda Restaurant Group reserves the right to cancel any and all fundraiser events for any reason and/or withhold payment of associated donation funds if the Panda Restaurant Group Fundraiser Guidelines are not followed.
