There is a charge for naloxone obtained at pharmacies; however, naloxone may be billed to Medicaid or private insurance. The Ohio State Board of Pharmacy maintains a list of pharmacies that are providing naloxone without a prescription pursuant to a protocol: Treatment and Hospital Based Programs The agencies/facilities listed below provide services/naloxone kits to their patients or clients only.
