What you need to know: All study and course materials are included in the price We provide a level test on your first day to confirm your language level. We provide you with a certificate upon completion of your course. We offer free access to computer/internet/wifi. We have a library and loan service with books and DVD s. We ll provide you with a 24 hour support phone line. Meet students from over 10 different countries We offer different activities in the afternoons every week. These activities are optional and we take into account the students profile. They are not included in the price of the course. 2 YOUR COURSE AT LINGUASCHOOLS IN GRANADA IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT CLASSES Classes are 55 minute long. Maximum of 8 students per class. Timetable: the classes can vary between 09:00 and 15:00 depending on the availability of the classrooms and levels. Linguaschools Granada reserves the right to make modifications without notice if necessary. Very important: If there is no group available at the student s level, private classes will be offered for half of the scheduled hours per week. Intensive 30: It is the intensive 20 course + 2 lessons per day in a small group focused on conversation which means that in the conversation classes students might belong to different but similar levels, for example students with a level B1 could be with students with a level B2 but not with students with an A1. Intensive 10 course: 2 lessons daily from Monday to Friday. Please note that this course makes up part of intensive 20 course. It means students will only attend half the lessons of the intensive 20 course. Therefore, it requires more dedication and self study outside the actual course lessons. The flamenco guitar and Flamenco dance programs both consist of 3 private lessons per week with a professional flamenco artist. In the case of a serious disciplinary offence, repeated bad behavior or illegal action, the student will be expelled from the school/accommodation without the right to any refund. IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT PAYMENT We don t charge any admin fees for bookings or accommodation. We don t charge for reservation changes canceled with one week s notice. Students must pay a fixed deposit to confirm the reservation and the remaining balance on the first day of class. In no case whatsoever will money for the course/accommodation be refunded, once the course has started.

6 50+ COURSE COURSE I +Spanish Language & Culture Intensive 20 2 Weeks 450 Start dates for the 50+ course 7 May 18 8 Oct Oct COURSE: consists of 2 weeks intensive 20 focused on students of the specific age group. This program also includes 7 afternoon activities and 1 day excursion all day on Saturday and is fully commissionable. Accommodation should be reserved apart. We have 3 fixed start dates. Alhambra visits are not included in the program. The Alhambra can be visited individually as tickets should be bought at least 3/4 weeks in advance. 8 Important: Accommodation is within walking distance from the school (maximum 15 minutes). Reservation runs from Sunday (before the first course day) until Saturday (after the last course day). 6 nights. Extra nights may be booked. Bed linen and towels are provided. Students are expected to share all household chores while staying in private accommodations. In the case of host families, a cleaning service is provided. In the case of shared flat accommodation, a 50 Euro deposit is payable upon arrival. This money will be returned to the student upon departure. Guests must arrive at the accommodation before 8.00 pm. Guests must depart the accommodation before pm. Parties and excessive noise in the accommodation are strictly forbidden. If any damage occurs and no one assumes direct responsibility, the cost of repairs will be divided among all the students in the flat. In the case of a serious disciplinary offence or repeated bad behaviour, the student will be expelled from the accommodation without the right to any refund.
