Hightower Trail MS celebrated our 25 th anniversary on Wednesday. The kids decorated hats and had a contest; the teachers decorated hats and had a contest; we ate outside and actually had a recess! It was wonderful! One more time we teachers were talking about how middle school kids need recess. Coach Z provided music for us all to enjoy while we ate outside. The PTSA had some really cool cookies made! And Hightower Trail is 25 years old! As a faculty we celebrated in the morning and honored Amy West who is an original teacher. We laughed at the old pictures and listened to new teachers talk about how old they were when HTMS opened or not born yet really??
2 I can t mention any names but thank you dad!!! We have a dad who is helping to refurbish some of the benches on our outdoor trail! He won t let me mention names but THANK YOU!!! I was checking out some data today and OUCH! Our attendance average is the lowest it has been in three years and has dropped.2 in the last week. Please be mindful that attendance is a state regulated issue. Remember that 12:45 is the magic number! We are beginning to think about next year and anxious for the EOG scores to come in. Again, thank you for who you are and for the chance to serve this community. Laura Montgomery School News 25TH ANNIVERSARY HAT CONTEST HOMEROOM WINNERS Thanks to all participating students!!!
