(ECE) Programme 2016 at BIT Mesra and BIT Patna Campuses The following are the lists of candidates provisionally selected on merit for the full-time M.E. Electronics & Communication Engineering Programme 2016 at BIT Mesra and BIT Patna Campuses, based on their academic records, scores and Counselling (for candidates) and Institute Entrance Test and Counselling (for Non- candidates) held at Mesra on 28 th June All provisionally selected candidates are required to report in person and take admission at Centre mentioned against their names, during working hours on any day by 04 th July 2016, failing which their admission offers will liable to be cancelled. At the time of admission, selected candidates would be required to submit the originals of the following documents and certificates. 1. Pass certificate of Class Marksheet of Class Marksheet of Class 12 / Intermediate or equivalent 4. Marksheets of Graduation for graduates 5. Certificates and marksheets of qualifying examination OR Marksheets upto pre-final year for appearing candidates of graduation / qualifying examination in They must bring a certificate in original from the Principal of Institute stating that: (a) by 30 June 2016, (s)/he will have appeared for examination in all subjects required for obtaining his/her qualifying degree. (b) (s)/he has obtained requisite marks or equivalent based on latest available grades / marks. 6. Candidates with qualifications acquired through correspondence or distancelearning programmes must carry proof of pass certificate and marksheets of qualifying examination and approval of DEC (Distance Education Council). 7. Admit card and Score card of 2015 / 2016 (if applicable). 8. Caste certificate / special category certificate (if applicable). 9. College Leaving Certificate and Migration Certificate 10. One recent passport size photograph, identical to the photograph affixed in the application form. 11. Candidates who have appeared / are appearing for final examinations in 2016 (i.e. whose complete set of marksheets upto final year are not available) will be required to bring an undertaking on Non-Judicial Stamp Paper of Rs. 20/- (please see PG 2016 Information Brochure 2016 (pdf) on website for format of undertaking). (ECE) Programme 2016 at BIT Mesra and BIT Patna Campuses Provisionally selected candidates who have appeared for final examinations in 2016 will be required to sign an undertaking at the time of admission on Non-Judicial Stamp Paper of Rs. 20/- to the effect that if they fail to obtain the requisite marks in graduation / postgraduation their admission will be cancelled. The deadline for submission of mark-sheet / degree certificate is 31 st October 2016, failing which the provisional admission will be cancelled. (Please see PG Information Brochure 2016 (pdf) on website for format of undertaking) Provisionally selected candidates will be required to deposit an amount of Rs.1,21,500/- for admission at Mesra and Rs.1,21,000/- for admission at BIT Patna Campus by crossed demand draft in favour of Birla Institute of Technology, payable at Ranchi for admission at Mesra and Payable at Patna for admission at BIT Patna campus. Students at Mesra & Patna Campuses will be required to deposit Hostel Caution Money* (One Time only - Refundable) of Rs.5,000/-. They will also be required to pay suitable mess advance at the beginning of each semester, which will be adjusted against their mess charges. For the July 2016 session, this mess advance will be Rs. 20,000*/- for Mesra and Rs. 15,000/- (boys) and Rs. 10,000/- (Girls) at Patna Campus. *For BIT Mesra - Hostel Caution Money (One Time only - Refundable) and Hostel Mess Advance (each semester) are payable by crossed Demand Draft in favour of BIT Hostels Mess Account payable at Ranchi. For fee refund rule, please see separate notice on the Notice Board and Institute website. Registration of admitted candidates will be done immediately after admission.
