For more information on help with fees please see the Help with Course Costs at the front of this prospectus. Help With Course Costs (Qualification Courses Only) For total fees above 600 students may pay by 3 equal instalments (depending on length of course) with the first payment due on enrolment and the 2 subsequent payments due at the start of each following term. Final payment is due at least one month before the end of the course.* Learner Support Fund If you are in receipt of means-tested or disability benefits, or have a low income, you can apply for funds to help pay for course related expenses such as childcare and travel. It is advisable to apply early as funds are limited. Call our Student Finance Officers on * An additional 10 administration fee applies to both instalment options above. Fees Paid by Employer or Other Organisation Payment is accepted by company cheque, credit or debit card, at the time of enrolment in full. No instalment option is available. If you wish the College to raise an invoice for the fees, please contact the ACL team on Payment can be made via BACS and our terms are 30 days net. Please note Employers will be liable for any outstanding course fees should the student leave their employment. UK, EU and EEA Students The amount of fees you pay will depend on your personal circumstances and the course you wish to study. You must have been ordinarily resident in the UK and Islands or the European Union or the European Economic Area continuously for at least the previous three years. International Students If you have not been resident in the UK, EU or EEA for more than 3 years before the start of your course (excluding any time spent in full-time education) different fees may apply to you. Please contact us for more information on Refunds College Cancellation Courses will only run if sufficient enrolments are received. When there are too few enrolments, the College may cancel the course even after receiving payment. If this happens and there is no suitable alternative course, the College will refund all fees paid as soon as possible. Student Cancellation Where the student cancels at least 14 days before a course starts the College may retain all or part of the fees due to cover losses incurred as a result of the cancellation. Where the student cancels after this time they remain liable for the full fees regardless of payment option. The College will retain or collect all fees due. Starting the Course After enrolling, students should attend the first session of the course at the venue, time and date shown in this prospectus. Places on courses can only be reserved by full enrolment and the correct payment. Important Notice Every care has been taken to ensure the accuracy of this prospectus at the time of print. However, the College cannot accept liability for claims arising out of errors or omissions or amendments to Government policy relating to funding. The College reserves the right, without notice, to withdraw, merge or vary any course provision or facilities deemed necessary by the College. 28 ADVICE AND ENROLMENT: ACL@EASTLEIGH.AC.UK 29
