10 FYI All students have school and should check it at least three times per week.

11 FYI All students and parents have access to POWER SCHOOL and can monitor grades and bulletin daily.

12 Recommendation Parents and students make use of the available information!

13 Beyond high school You will not have access to your child s grades in college unless (s)he chooses to give you that.

14 Yearbook Sale Yearbooks can be purchased NOW for $50 (price becomes $55 after)

15 Yearbook Picture may be casual but school appropriate. Senior Pictures for Yearbook Avoid full length body shots face should be clearly visible think head and shoulder shots. Digitally submit senior picture Senior pictures must be ed by Tuesday, December 20, 2016

17 Yearbook information SENIOR ADS: Senior Ads can now be purchased. If you would like to purchase an ad for a 2017 BHS Senior, please fill out the appropriate form. Prices range according to ad size. Deadline to purchase a Senior Ad is Friday, January 27, 2017 See website for order forms and ideas.

21 Many items are optional Senior Pictures ($300+) Yearbook -$55 Watch for Graduation announcements and other supplies - $37 (cap and gown)- $$$$$ Senior Class trip non refundable deposit due October 28. Payment in Full by February 17. May make payments in $25 dollar increments please. Signature Shirt - $ end of September Attend a college fair or visitation September - October

22 Watch for these! Graduation announcement orders due. College application fees $25 or more per application - some are free. Scholarships Attend a college admission visit or two check guidance. Senior Class Day Trip $100 due (may make payments through Friday, February 17) Cap and gown payment due $37. November - December

24 Cost of Senior Year Some colleges may request deposits in February. Winterfest Semi-formal January - February

25 More to do Senior Class Day Trip may need extra money for food or snacks (Monday, May 1 - after prom). Prom Cap and gowns and extras purchased. Senior Banquet-$15 Students concerned should try on gowns before to insure fit. Check with Mrs. Hess. March, April, and May

27 Countdown! Senior Banquet Fernwood-May 10 Dress up. May BHS seniors only Reservation only no refund $15 Caps and gowns handed out.

28 Countdown May 5 hard copy of speech submitted to Mrs. Hess (specifications and theme posted on website). May 11 Try-outs in auditorium 3 p.m. Senior Graduation Speech Deadline May 5th

29 Countdown in MAY Optional Baccalaureatetime and place to be finalized but likely May 21. Cap and gown event May Optional event hosted by Buchanan Churches

30 Seniors Last Day of Class Friday, May 26th

31 Countdown 9:30 a.m.- 11:30 (ish) Senior brunch Mandatory graduation practice Speech practice in stadium 7 p.m. Honors Night (cap and gown event) June 1

32 Blast off Graduation Pictures - $25 + TBA Graduation Night Friday, June 7 p.m. All debts must be paid to walk during ceremony June 7 p.m.
