7 Prospective students must provide TAFE Queensland with an ELICOS partner college letter of verification confirming that the student has demonstrated a level of English proficiency which can be considered the equivalent or higher than minimum testing benchmarks used by TAFE Queensland Entry requirements ELICOS partner college will ensure that students being provided to TAFE Queensland have: - officially verified entry requirements (including minimum IELTS 5.0 score and equivalent test results) at the commencement of all programs; - completed their designated course with a proficiency rating equivalent to overall result 5.5 (with no individual band score of less than 5.0) or a higher level; - a minimum full-time course duration of weeks in-class and examination time with a sustained attendance record of 80%; - been issued with a graduation certificate and - been issued a letter of verification on letterhead, that states their proficiency rating equivalent, course duration and attendance percentage as per the official records of the ELICOS partner college Should the ELICOS partner college change the programs referred to in the table of equivalents above, the ELICOS partner college will provide TAFE Queensland with a letter of verification stating their current equivalent English proficiency IELTS levels of graduates of the Academic English programs certified by the Director of Studies on letterhead so that TAFE Queensland can recognise ELICOS partner college Academic English certificates for the purpose of articulation and enrolment. Study gap: the direct entry pathway is valid only for three months from the date the student completes the ELICOS program at the ELICOS partner college Page 7 of 7
