In terms of number of subscribers, Korea's mobile phone market is the region's third largest and has one of the most advanced installed 3G networks. The importance of and focus on education in Korea also allows the country to boast of having the largest number of college graduates and Ph.D.s in the world as well as having an adult literacy rate of nearly 100%. Its mission is to help each and every child fully realize his or her academic potential in a state-of-the-art learning environment. Students will experience an instructional program based on standards that promote international perspectives, and encourage them to aspire to greater heights. The program is designed to prepare students for entry into leading colleges and universities around the world. Formed under the guidance of Headmaster's Advisory Council (HAC) and founded by International School Services (ISS), International School Songdo has benefited from the valuable advice and expertise of professionals in the education sector. This program will enhance the learning process through cutting edge teaching strategies and the effective use of technology in the classroom. Our students will be taught in English by the native English speaking teachers based on the curriculums of the designated school standard of the United States. Designated school is planning to provide the curriculums and teachers necessary for the schools to offer the best possible educational programs from K through 12th grade at AIS.
