All families are notified in advance of any allergies or specific food requests that students may have, provided we have been notified by the students or their agents. SELF-CATERING STUDENT APARTMENT Located next door to the school, the ATC student apartments offer accommodation in single or twin rooms on a self catering basis. The apartments are within walking distance of the school or a short bus journey from the city centre. This rate includes an airport transfer on arrival for bookings of at least 4 weeks. A reduced arrival transfer is offered for bookings of 1-3 weeks of 45. These modern apartments are offered on a self catering basis with a shared kitchen and living room. UCD is perfectly located 4km from Dublin City Centre, and with a bus terminus the school on South William Street can be reached in only 15 minutes. NCI is located in the financial district of Dublin City Centre, close to the River Liffey and within metres of a Luas (tram) stop, our school on South William Street can be reached by walking in around 20 minutes. The TOEIC exam is available every month at ATC or on demand for groups. The fee covers the examination, administration, certificate and the secure postage of the certificate to the student. 9 TEACHER TRAINING PROGRAMME SOUTH WILLIAM STREET - DUBLIN CITY CENTRE 2 WEEK PROGRAMME 700 PROGRAMME INCLUDES: 52 hours of lessons in total (20 hours General English & 6 hours Teacher Training per week) Social programme - 1 afternoon cultural/educational visit per week All didactic material Use of library and computer facilities (Monday to Friday) This programme is offered as an in-service teacher development programme for non-native speakers of English. We offer one course for primary school teachers, and one course for secondary school teachers. The syllabus includes advanced language awareness and practical teaching techniques for pronunciation and fluency, as well as current methods of teaching and learning. A module on Content and Language Integrated Learning (CLIL) can be arranged on request. This module is specifically for teachers of non-language curricular subjects who teach through English. The programmes are two weeks long and are 52 hours in duration, with education and cultural excursions. Students from non-eu countries may need a visa to enter either country and should check with their nearest Irish or British Embassy / Consulate. PROGRAMMES ATC Language Schools will only be liable to provide groups and/or individuals with the programme agreed in writing with its agent/client. TARIFFS All course prices are gross unless otherwise stated. ATC Language Schools reserves the right to alter rates should economic trends or government increases make this necessary. EXTRAS Any extras to the programme as set out in the tariff must be requested in writing in advance of arrival. INSURANCE Before travelling to Ireland or England, all persons participating in ATC Language Schools programmes must arrange their own insurance against all expenses that might arise due to accident, illness or loss of luggage, personal effects and money. ATC accepts no responsibility in the event of such occurrences. Providers of activities such as horse-riding, cycling etc. insist that minors have an insurance waiver signed by their parent, guardian or group leader before commencement of such activities.
