2 The Saint Nicolas Summer Camp is open every summer in July and August. The rich and varied course gives you the chance to explore Paris, have fun and make new friends whilst learning French. l 15 hours of lessons per week l 15 students maximum per class l End of course certificate l Full-board residential accommodation l A full program of activities l Three half-day excursions per week l One full-day excursion per fortnight l Round the clock security LOCATION The Saint Nicolas Summer Camp is located in Issy-les-Moulineaux, a quiet and charming suburb in southern Paris, with fast and easy access to the city centre. QUALITY Our teachers all have university degrees and are fully qualified to teach French as a foreign language. They have been chosen because of their experience in teaching and taking care of young people. ACCORD is a well-known school with a reputation for quality teaching of French as a foreign language. ACCORD is recognised by the Rectorat de Paris (n 588), is a member of Campus France, of the professional group SOUFFLE and has received the Official Quality Seal FLE. LEVEL TEST On the first day, students take an evaluation test. Groups of the same linguistic level are formed based on the outcome of the test.

3 FRENCH COURSE The course includes 15 hours of lesson time per week. The lessons are between 9:00 and midday. In each multinational class, there is a maximum of 15 students to ensure that each teenager is really involved in the class and that the teacher is able to support the students fully. ACCORD s teaching philosophy is Play and Learn. The teaching is based on oral communication with the help of authentic and exciting materials: films, magazines, songs, television programmes etc. The teachers create lots of games to make the lessons lively, interactive and fun. END OF COURSE CERTIFICATE At the end of the course, each student receives a certificate indicating the level he or she has achieved. ACCOMMODATION Students have full-board accommodation at the Saint Nicolas Residence. There are four beds in each bedroom and shared bathrooms and toilets on every floor. Sheets and towels are provided and changed every week. Bedrooms are cleaned twice a week. Laundry service included once a week. The Saint Nicolas Residence is a modern building with quality facilities: bedrooms, classrooms, self-service restaurant, TV room, large sports hall suitable for activities such as volleyball, basketball, badminton, handball... The students have their breakfast, lunch and dinner in the Residence s restaurant every day. An afternoon snack is also provided. The meals are nutritious, balanced and varied. Vegetarian and pork-free options are also available. Meals are replaced by picnics when on excursions.

4 ACTIVITIES As well as sport and leisure activities, whilst on the summer campus the students participate in the many visits and excursions: The Louvre, the Eiffel Tower, Notre Dame, Montmartre and the Sacré Coeur, a cruise on the Seine, a full day at an amusement park (Disneyland Paris or Parc Astérix), a visit to a castle,. All activities are in French so the students improve their French in a fun and interactive environment. SAFETY Our priority is to provide a pleasant and worry-free stay. All activities are supervised to ensure constant safety. Teachers and team leaders are chosen because of their experience in teaching, taking care of young people and their knowledge of sports and arts. They are involved in the students everyday lives and in extracurricular activities. Important : Students are not allowed to go out if not accompanied by a team leader. On registration, students and parents must sign the Residence s Internal Regulations and confirm their full acceptance. INSURANCE The school does not insure students against illness, accident, theft, repatriation or loss of personal belongings. Each student must take out insurance before arrival.
