2 Galt Link A & B COMMUNITY BUS SERVICE CHANGE FOR DECEMBER 2015 The City of Fort Lauderdale and Broward County Transit () have partnered to provide the GALT LINK (A, B) route. This community bus service will increase the number of destinations and connections that can be reached through public transit. Destinations along this route include Broward County Galt Library, Beach Community Center, Coral Ridge Mall, Coral Ridge Towers North, Galleria Mall, The Pelican Grand, the Lauderdaleby-the-Sea Town Hall and Visitor Center, and the surrounding neighborhoods. Connections are available to routes 10, 11, 20, 36, 40, 55, 62, 72, US 1 Breeze, and Sun Trolley Beach Link, Pelican Hopper (Lauderdale-by-the-Sea) Community Bus. All buses utilized on this route are air-conditioned and wheelchair accessible in accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). The Galt Link (A, B) Community Bus route is a free of charge but riders making connections to routes are expected to pay the appropriate fares. HOLIDAYS The Galt Link (A, B) Community Bus route does not operate on Sunday and Thursday or the following holidays observed by the City of Fort Lauderdale: New Year s Day Memorial Day Independence Day Labor Day Thanksgiving Day Christmas Day BIKE RACKS Bike racks are available on Galt Link (A, B) Community Bus. Racks are designed to carry two bikes only. It is important to have the operator s attention before loading and unloading your bike. As the bus approaches, have your bike ready to load. Remove any loose items that may fall off. LOADING Always load your bike from the curbside of the street. Lower-Squeeze the handle and pull down to release the folded bike rack. Lift your bike into the rack, fit ting the wheels into the slots of the vacant position closest to the bus. Latch-Pull and release the sup port arm over the front tire, making sure the support arm is resting on the tire, not on the fender or frame. UNLOADING Before exiting, notify the opera tor you are removing your bike. Pull the support arm off the tire. Move the support arm down and out of the way. Lift your bike out of the rack. If your bike is the only one on the rack, return the rack to the upright position. Move quickly to the curb.

6 Hours of Operation MONDAY, TUESDAY, WEDNESDAY, FRIDAY & SATURDAY 8:30am 4:30pm The Galt Link (A, B) Community Bus route operates approximately every 60 minutes with 8 trips per route respectively and assigned stops. The bus will operate as close to schedule as possible. Traffic conditions, bridge openings, and/or inclement weather may cause the bus to arrive earlier or later than the expected time. The Galt Link (A, B) Community Bus route will not operate once a hurricane warning has been issued or if other hazards do not allow for the safe operation of the bus.
