Professional Portfolio: Summary of Qualifications: Eighteen (18) years of progressive experience in the public education system and the post-secondary education system as: a classroom teacher; guidance counsellor; special education and braille teacher; school administrator; consultant and in teacher training and development. My experience in administration as a Principal and as a Consultant for students with special needs for the Ontario Ministry of Education has given me a solid background in conflict resolution, management, relationship-building as well as an excellent knowledge of Special Education in Ontario. My tenure as Head of Student Services and Guidance as well as my experience with the student success portfolio gives me the necessary tools to prepare our guidance counsellors of the future.
