Volume 8 Issue 13 November 26, 2018 I hope that everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving Holiday and had an opportunity to spend some valuable time with family and friends. I would like to thank the Fugett Middle School PTO for providing our staff with a very delightful lunch meal during parent conferences last week. Congratulations to all of our students who received Honor Roll recognition for the first marking period. Honor Roll Certificates will be distributed in homeroom this week. Friendly reminder Through the generosity of our PTO we are proud to bring the Public and Permanent Assembly Program to our students and parents. Fugett Sports for the Week of November 26 Thursday Nov :15 PM GIRLS MIDDLE SCHOOL - VARSITY BASKETBALL H Fred S Engle MS (G MS - VARSITY) Fugett Sports for the Week of December 3 Boys Basketball begins on December 3. Students and Parents should be reminded that the expectation of a student athlete has always been that they are ambassadors of the school and represent the school when traveling to an away game. For the safety of all students and for the image that, as a school, Fugett wants to portray to others, any misbehavior on the bus or at an away game will not be tolerated and there will be consequences for poor student behavior. Fugett students have been regarded as exceptional young men and women who treat others with respect and exhibit good sportsmanship. We do not want to tarnish this image.

7 Page 7 Fugett Ski and Snowboard Club We would like to welcome students to the FUGETT SKI AND SNOWBOARD CLUB! It s time for the winter season to begin! We are looking forward to several fantastic trips. DATES: Fridays in January & February (6 total): Bear Creek Mountain Resort ( Saturday, March 2, 2019: Jack Frost Mountain ( We hope to see many of you at the informational meeting on Tuesday, December 11, 2018 in the auditorium during homeroom. 8 Page 8 *No refunds will be issued for unused portions of the multi session pass *No refunds will be issued for any reason for season pass *Any group lesson participant must be at least 8 years old *If you lose your pass, there is a $25 replacement fee *Multi session passes are valid for OFF PEAK HOURS ONLY: Open to close on Mon Fri (non-resort holiday) and after 4pm on weekends and resort holidays. Multi Session Passes are NOT VALID BEFORE 4PM on Saturday, Sunday or Resort Holidays *Resort Holidays are Dec. 25, 2018 through Jan. 1, 2019, Jan. 19 through 21, 2019 and Feb. 16 through 18, 2019 *Minors renting equipment will need a signed rental release form, *If you have problems completing your purchase through the website, please contact the group sales office at: *Season Passholder Benefit For group members purchasing a Season Pass, you will earn one Bring a Friend voucher for each season pass purchased. Additionally, group member have access to early bird season pass pricing until December (or opening day) (General Public discount pricing expires Nov, ) When purchasing your pass, you will need to provide a full name, address, phone number and birthdate for each passholder. You will also need a valid credit card for payment. LESSON OPTIONS: Must be at least 8 yrs old for any lesson option Beginner Lessons These lessons are available for first time skiers for snowboarders or those still needing to improve their basic skills. Beginner lessons are valid throughout the season ongoing throughout the daytime and evenings beginning at 5pm. Refresher Lesson These lessons are designed for those returning to the sport. The lesson will focus on safety and the responsibility that goes along with skiing and snowboarding. The lesson will be 1 hour long and will start at 5 pm on the following dates ONLY: January 3, 4 and 10, Lessons will be given in a group format.
