5 Payment Procedure & Refund Policy An application fee of $250 is required along with the application in order to secure space and a letter of invitation to the program. The remaining balance of fees is due prior to the program start date. International payments can be made at Flywire.com ESLi Canada has partnered with Flywire.com to pay securely from any country and any bank. Bank wires may be sent directly to: English As A Second Language International HSBC Bank Canada Langley By-Pass, Langley, BC V3A 8R6 Bank Transit Code: Bank ID Number: 016 SWIFT Code: HKBC CATT Account # ESLI does NOT issue receipts for Bank Wires. Please ask for a receipt from your bank Bank charges range $25 to $40. Please send enough to cover bank charges so that ESLI receives full payment The student s name or company name must appear on the bank wire. ONLY THEN can we guarantee that the money will be credited correctly the bank wire transfer receipt to STUDY TOURS - ESLI at ESLi@twu.ca Please note it can take up to 7 days for the funds to be received. Students who cancel in writing prior to arrival in Canada and prior to the program start date will be refunded in full with the exception of the $250 application fee, which is non-refundable. No refund will be given after the program start date. Private Training Institutions Branch The program of instruction outlined in this student enrolment contract does not require approval under the Private Training Act. Students may not file a claim against the Student Tuition Protection Fund with the Trustee in respect of this program of instruction. 6 Terms of Agreement, Disclaimer and Signature I understand that I or my son/daughter will be required to participate in all classes and activities as outlined in the program schedule, and abide by the following rules and regulations of the program. No use of alcohol or illegal drugs No possession of and/or use of pornographic materials No breach of homestay rules and regulations as provided to students on arrival No unsafe or dangerous behaviors to self or others including bullying I also understand that ESLI reserves the right to dismiss any student who does not abide by such rules and that such student will be returned home at their own expense. I the undersigned parent or guardian of, give permission (please print clearly) for my child to participate in the full range of activities that will take place during the ESLI short-term program. I grant ESLI the right to sign activity waiver forms and release forms deemed necessary, on my behalf in order for my child to participate in the activities listed in the program schedule.
