Mixed methods were used to determine the effects of a short-term study abroad experience on pre-service teacher candidates' cultural and instructional awareness of diverse learners needs in the classroom. Mixed methods were used to determine the effects of a short-term study abroad experience on pre-service teacher candidates' cultural and instructional awareness of diverse learners needs in the classroom. The Impact of Student Teaching on Pre-Service Teacher Efficacy and Teacher Identity: A Case Study Paula B. Griffin Teacher efficacy and teacher identity are the focus of this research. Data collected during weekly interviews with the student teacher, responsive journaling, and classroom observations completed by the researcher. Impact of Study Abroad Programs on Teacher Candidate Perceptions Victoria N. Seeger & Paula B. Griffin This qualitative study measures teacher candidate perceptions concerning teaching children from other cultures. Data was collected through journal responses and focus group interviews. Teachers Perceptions of All-Girl Public Middle Schools in Texas Pat Curry, Paula B. Griffin, Suzy Lofton, Linda Luce, & Julia Ballenger This research measures teacher perceptions concerning academic achievement, social- Emotional development and behavior of girls enrolled in all-girl middle schools.
