Teaching Skills (6 ECTS) gives doctoral students and post-docs the opportunity to advance their education in teaching and didactics. Overall, the program covers 15 days of courses, peer mentoring, and mentoring by a didactics professor, who visits your class. It further requires teaching experience and the submission of a teaching portfolio. I have taught several courses (seminars and lectures) on the bachelor and master level, both in German and English language. Subjects taught included globalization and the media, social entrepreneurship and corporate social responsibility (communication). From 2011 till today, I have supervised 24 bachelor and master theses. The supervision includes the selection of suitable candidates, the subject development, assistance for the students as well as the review of the thesis and a grading suggestion. I serve as external examiner for master and PhD theses at the Norwegian University of Life Sciences (NMBU), Norway and the Université catholique de Louvain, Belgium.
