12 To determine how closely internal and external customers perceive that we have met the goals of the construction project. To learn ways in which to continue to improve library spaces. To determine where we should allocate resources for library spaces. To determine opportunities for publicizing our services and resources.

To create a vibrant, efficient, comfortable and visually attractive space for scholarly research, quiet study, active learning, computer technology and interaction among groups of students, faculty, and staff. 2. To increase user/reader, collection and staff space to accommodate and utilize present and future technological advances, while preserving traditional collections.

15 To create a vibrant, efficient, comfortable and visually attractive space for scholarly research, quiet study, active learning, computer technology and interaction among groups of students, faculty, and staff. To increase user/reader, collection and staff space to accommodate and utilize present and future technological advances, while preserving traditional collections.
16 To continue to house print, multi-media media and materials in all formats in Coleman Library, as well as branch libraries. To meet the continued growth of traditional and electronic collections and to deliver new services with the use of new technologies. To exhibit a high level of flexibility with many open areas, fewer fixed walls, and conveniently designed technology infrastructure in new and renovated spaces.
17 To consider relation of existing spaces and functions to promote convenient and appropriate functional relationships of the respective departments. To maintain the instructional Media Center within the Coleman Library spatial complex. To secure separate entrances and exits for Coleman Library and the Instructional Media Center that will prohibit intrusion from on or the other area during different and separately administered hour of operation.
18 In addition: The expansion of the Coleman Library and the Instructional Media Center will require a spatial organization and building envelope that links all the existing floors, providing efficient circulation of users and staff. Building massing will be configured to make a cohesive architectural statement and to maximize the introduction of natural light into appropriate spaces.
