4 WELCOME MEET YOUR TSS INSTRUCTORS Heidi Roman SOFTWARE CONSULTANT Toni Carroll VICE PRESIDENT, SALES Heidi has over 18 years of title industry experience in both residential and commercial transactions. She previously worked in the title industry as a processor, manager, and trainer. Heidi has worked with TSS for four years and is a TitleExpress expert, providing support and training to new and existing customers. Toni has over twenty-five years of title industry experience and has conducted more than 3,000 closings. Prior to joining TSS in 1996, Toni s work included closing, processing, disbursing, and abstracting. Toni has been conducting training for TSS for fifteen years and has instructed thousands of new users on TitleExpress and other TSS solutions. TSS SOFTWARE CORPORATION // 2

5 WHAT TO EXPECT All attendees, whether training in the classroom or online, receive the benefits of one-on-one training for their software solution. TSS instructors are experts in their respective areas of the title and settlement industry and they keep the class content relevant to daily workflow. HOW TO VIEW CLASS SCHEDULES All classes are three hours, so you can maximize your training and take two classes a day. You will learn how to process an order and gain an overview of the TitleExpress Main Menu. Topics include data entry, document preparation, HUD-1 preparation, disbursing, and escrow accounting. Credit: None Class Fee: $99 201W / Mastering TitleExpress Forms Online Class This online class is for TitleExpress users who want to create and maintain TitleExpress master forms. You will learn how to use time-saving Microsoft Word features, work with fields, create merge sets, use clauses, and insert a company logo. You will also learn how to use advanced options such as FILLIN fields, ASK and REF fields, IF statements, and macros. Credit: None Class Fee: $99 301C / HUD-1 Focus Classroom Training This class is for TitleExpress users looking for in depth 2010 HUD-1 preparation training. You will learn about the RESPA rule, 2010 HUD-1 terminology, how to enter charges on HUD-1 Pages 1, 2, and 3 using sample loan closing packages, Good Faith Estimate preparation, prorations, seller-side charges, borrower-side charges, and closing table skills. This class is held in the TSS Training Center in Annapolis, MD. Credit: Three continuing education credits for MD (Course # C09695), PA (Course # ) and VA (Course # ) are available to students who successfully complete the course. No exam is necessary. 302W / TitleExpress Reconciliation Focus Online Class This online class is for TitleExpress users looking for indepth escrow accounting and reconciliation training. You will learn about preparing disbursement items for escrow accounting, check writing, reconciling a TitleExpress Escrow Account, preparing month end reports, troubleshooting common reconciliation issues, and joining items. In addition, you will learn about features that reduce fraud and automate the reconciliation process. From the West (Washington, DC) -Take US-50 East toward Annapolis, then follow the General Directions below. From the North (Philadelphia, PA) -Take I-95 South toward Baltimore. From I-95 take 895 South through the Baltimore Harbor Tunnel. Stay right after exiting toll booth. Follow signs and exits for Route 97 South - Annapolis. Continue on Route 97 South (past BWI Thurgood Marshall Airport Exit) for approximately 13 miles. Follow signs for US-50 East - Bay Bridge, then follow the General Directions below. Courtesy of MapQuest From the South (Richmond, VA) -Follow I-95 North to I-495 North (Washington Beltway). -Take US-50 East (Exit 19A) East towards Annapolis, then follow the General Directions below. General Directions -From US-50, take Exit 24, SR-70 (Rowe Boulevard) exit. -Stay right off of the exit and head towards downtown Annapolis. -At the end of Rowe Boulevard, turn right onto Church Circle. -Remain in the far-right lane around Church Circle. Take the 5th right turn onto Duke of Gloucester Street. -This is a one-way street (directly before Maryland Inn). If you miss it, go around the circle again. -Stay in the right lane of Duke of Gloucester Street. This will end at Compromise Street. Turn right and go over the Eastport Bridge. -Take the first left turn after the bridge (at the traffic light) onto Severn Avenue. -Take second right turn onto Fourth Street (Boatyard Grill on right). -TSS is mid-way down this block on the left. 8 REGISTRATION Class registrations are processed in the order they are received. Seats for classroom training are reserved upon receipt of payment. Each individual joining an online class must register individually and pay the applicable registration fee. Corporate or group registrations are available by special arrangement. Cancellation/No Show/Substitution Policy If a registrant fails to attend a class for which they are registered without prior five-day notification to TSS Software Corporation, 100% of the registration fee will be assessed. Attendee substitutions are accepted without additional charge. TSS reserves the right to cancel a class up to two business days from the scheduled class. If a class in which you are enrolled is cancelled, we will do our best to place you in another class or offer a full refund of the registration fee paid.
