4 Create Account Your Facility Coordinator can provide you with New User Instructions including your facility s unique redemption code. You will need your facility s redemption code to log into the HLS. Access Instructions Log in to: 1. Log In: Click here if you are a returning user 2. Redeem Code: Click here if you are a new user 1 2 Enter Your Code Enter your code exactly as shown and click continue. Note - Please do not add spaces page 1

5 Create Your Username (SSO) 1. Create New SSO Account: Click here as a first time user to create a username/password that you will need for future logins to the HLS. 2. Login with Existing SSO Account: Click here for subsequent visits after your SSO Account has been created. 1 2 Create Your Account Complete the brief application. Note - Prior to filling in your User ID, click on the CHECK box to make sure your User ID is not being used by anyone else in the system. Success! Once you have successfully created your SSO Account, you will need to log into the HLS to redeem your voucher code. Click continue. page 2

6 Log in for the First Time Use your newly created SSO ID and Password to log in to the HLS. Verify Your Information Verify that your registration information is correct. If it isn t, make the necessary corrections. Click Next. Once you have verified that your information is correct, click Yes. page 3

7 My Catalog Your individual HLS home page provides you with access to the following information: My Catalog Tab: A listing of all the courses available to you My Courses Tab: A listing of courses that you have started but not yet completed Search Bar: Indicates the number of courses that are available to you and allows you the ability to search for any courses that may be of interest to you. 4. Learning History: Provides you with a record of all the courses you have completed along with the associated certificates. 5. Progress Chart: Shows percent of completed courses from your enrolled courses. Catalog Libraries - TiP-Ed SM Online There are multiple modality libraries in the TiP Ed Online catalog of courses. Click on any of the + signs before the library name to display the list of courses within that library. Click on the course title to give you detailed information on the course. Course Description and Launch Find the course description and enroll yourself in the course by clicking on the plus button to the right of the course title. page 4

8 Course Dashboard The Course Dashboard Page Contains the following information: 1. Course Details: Depending on the type of course you are taking, there may be a summary of the course provided here. If CE s are provided, additional information will be listed here Continuing Education (Mandatory): Clicking on the View Course Content takes you to the course video or content. After you view the video and complete the feedback form, the Assessment link will become active. Home At any time, clicking on Home in the upper left navigation bar, will take you back to the home page. Note: When viewing My Courses or Course Catalog the green tab is the active tab. Learning History Click on Learning History provides you with the following: 1. A view of the courses you have completed with a certificate if they are available. 2. The ability to download your transcript. 1 2 page 5
