14 Example of a good practice in a Joint Degree Mobility Master in Astronomy and Astrophysics

15 All students of each edition (intakes per cycle) start the first semester together to have a common starting point. This prepares them for the more specialized courses of the next semesters. Thus they learn to work as a team. They are co-supervised by Professors of two different Universities. So, they are benefitted by the scientific knowledge of two different scientists while cooperations and publications are developed between the collaborating parties.

16 It is an attractive study area since it is unique in its kind It is targeted and can recruit students from the Mediterranean basin and the Balkans It has the potential to forming a strong consortium due to previous scientific collaborations with other European countries and can be facilitated by the experience that AUA has acquired from the successful implementation of the European Program Tempus in Plant Medicine with Universities from neighboring countries (Italy, Balkans) It stands high funding possibilities through Erasmus+ Program It ensures employability for its graduates since it is structured on increased participation of enterprises of related disciplines.
