1 Who We Are SEDL is a nonprofit educa6on research, development, and dissemina6on organiza6on based in Aus6n, Texas. SEDL s mission is to strengthen the connec6ons among research, policy, and prac6ce in order to improve outcomes for all learners.
2 Technical assistance including expert consulta6ons, professional development, and provision of informa6on resources using a variety of media and delivery formats has been a core SEDL func6on since our incep6on in 1966.
3 SEDL s Na6onal Center for Quality AKerschool SEDL has been a na6onal leader in the field of akerschool since the incep6on of the 21 st Century Community Learning Centers. SEDL led the Na6onal Partnership for Quality AKerschool Learning, which developed evidence- based materials and provided technical assistance and training for state and local 21 st CCLC programs.
