Teaching writing skills from the elementary level to the intermediate and advanced levels including paragraphs and essays leading to advanced research courses involving data collection, forming questionnaires and conducting interviews. This leads to an advanced writing course which is research based. CO-CURRICULAR AND COMMUNITY ACTIVITIES: Convenor, Faculty Seminar Forum, The faculty forum arranged seminars and workshops in both semesters of this year on a variety of topics, including interdisciplinary studies. Was a member of the Conference Committee of the 2 nd International Conference of Language, Linguistics, Literature and Translation held at SQU in March I was instrumental in arranging for plenary speakers as well as co-ordinating the publication of the various conference pamplelts. Involved with the text book selection committee and the faculty seminar forum. This involves the scheduling of seminars by faculty members, arranging round table forums, dramatic readings and other faculty presentations. Student Advisor to Arts Majors: Year 3 to 5 of Bachelor of Arts English Majors, Sultan Qaboos University, Muscat, Sultanate of Oman Since Involved with the English and Translation Group, an association of arts and education students engaged in creative writing and translation projects leading to an annual journal. Help in the editing of their journal and periodically judge debates, speaking competitions, creative writing competitions and other student activities.
