Course Outline Course Title Course Objectives intacs certified ISO/IEC Provisional Assessor (AutomotiveSPICE ) The 5-day Automotive SPICE Assessor Training Course is designed specifically for providing IT professionals with the knowledge and skills needed to conduct software process assessments according to ISO Automotive SPICE - Process Assessment. As a result of attending the course, delegates will be able to: Navigate the five parts of ISO Understand Automotive SPICE Understand and explain the use of software process assessment Develop a procedure for conduction conformant assessments Assemble and brief an assessment team Plan and conduct assessments using the assessment model in ISO Present the results of assessment to the assessed organisation This course is approved by the International Assessor Certification Scheme and meets the training requirements for individuals seeking recognition as an ISO Provisional Assessor or ISO Assessor under the Scheme. 2 Certification Delegates who demonstrate satisfactory performance throughout the course and pass the final examination are awarded a Certificate of Achievement. This certificate demonstrates the necessary training requirement has been met such that delegates are eligible to submit an application for recognition as an Automotive SPICE Provisional Assessor or Assessor. The certificate cost will be charged extra by the VDA-QMC (Verein der Deutschen Automobilindustrie Quality Management Centre), which is recognised by INTACS = International Assessor Certification Scheme). 5 How to Find the Training Locations For the ISCN look at 1. Hotels 2. Directions to the Meeting Place 3. Flights to Dublin 1. Hotels ISCN will book and pay rooms for you in the following hotels which are close to tram lines going to the UPC Telekabel centre (former Schwarzenegger centre) where the ISCN Training office is located. The Royal Hotel & Leisure Centre Main Street, Bray, Co Wicklow 2. Directions to the Training Place The training location is 10 minutes walking distance from the Royal Hotel. The training takes place in the Esplanade Hotel at the seafront. Page 5 of 8

6 How to come from the Royal Hotel to the training place? Leave the Royal hotel and go left. Turn left into the Queensborough Road and walk down to the sea. At the sea front turn right and follow the seafront until you see the Esplanade hotel to your right. It is an estimated 10 minutes walking distance. How to Find the Royal Hotel If you come by car From the North: o Take the M50 to the South (direction Wexford). You'll follow the M50 and leave at the first exit to Bray. From the South: o Take the N11 to the North (direction Dublin) and then the third (last) exit to Bray. Once you took the exit to Bray: At the next round-about turn right into the town centre of Bray. After the bridge you'll see the Royal Hotel on your left hand side and a church on your right hand side. If you come by DART (train): The journey by DART from Dublin city centre to Bray takes 35 mins approx. The Florence Road connects the Bray DART station with the Bray town center. On the one end is the DART station, on the other is a church. Go from the DART station into Bray (to the Main Road) following the Florence Road. When you reach the church turn right into the main road and the Royal Hotel is after 100 m to your right. It is about 5 mins walk from the DART Station to the ISCN Office. 7 A taxi from the airport (North of Dublin) to Bray (South of Dublin) goes through the M50 motorway and takes at least 35 minutes (depending on the traffic). The cost is about 65 Euro. As you might know, Dublin has the DART service (Dublin Area Rapid Transport) instead of an underground railway. Take the bus directly outside the Arrivals Hall to the city center and leave at the TARA DART station. You take the DART Southbound to Bray and leave the DART at the Bray DART station and just follow the Florence road. This journey altogether will take about 1 hour and 20 minutes. Note: Dublin is quite large city and so it takes time to reach the target place from the airport. 3. Flights to Dublin ISCN will book and cover your flight to Dublin. - ISCN will book and pay flights with Airberlin ( via London), RyanAir ( via London) and Aerlingus ( from Nuremberg, Berlin, Friedrichshafen, Munich, Frankfurt, Paris, Madrid, London, etc. to Dublin.
