3 3 a. Knowing English grammar at an intermediate level of difficulty. b. Being able to understand written and oral texts of medium difficulty about specific topics related to Psychology. c. Being able to produce oral texts of an intermediate level of difficulty about specific issues relating to Psychology. d. Acquiring the necessary skills to produce texts that are expressive and properly structured concerning general issues in understandable English; being able to do this at an intermediate level of lexical, grammatical and language proficiency. e. Encouraging students to become familiar with scientific English used in the field of Psychology. f Developing communication skills within the context of scientific English used in the field of Psychology. g. Developing techniques to become familiar with the production and interpretation of typical scientific texts for specific issues or those closely related to the field of Psychology. MENTION OF DISTINCTION: The mention of Distinction will be awarded to students who have achieved a score equal to or greater than 9.0. The number of Distinctions granted will not exceed 5% of students enrolled in a subject in the corresponding academic year unless enrollment is under 20, in which case only one Distinction may be granted. (Royal Decree 1125/2003).
