QUALIFICATION DELIVEY s responsibilities Limited is an Approved Centre to deliver Chartered Management Institute (CMI) Qualifications as regulated by Ofqual. Advanced Management Platform Courses are delivered primarily via KBProfessional Advanced Management Platform, although Learning Seminars are occasionally facilitated by to support learning outcomes. All learners will be issued with a username and password to the KBProfessional Advanced Management Platform this will be used to create an individual profile and to record and capture the full learner journey. Learning Materials proprietary learning materials are provided for CMI qualifications and the respective content is mapped to the appropriate study units in pursuit of either, an Award, Certificate, Diploma or Extended Diploma. All of the information required to successfully complete a qualification is available from the KBProfessional Advanced Management Platform. The learning materials represent the basic reading only for each qualification. Further reading is referenced within the content. In addition, learners can choose to become a CMI Studying Member. Studying Membership offers access to additional learning materials including the CMI Management Direct portal, the Management Today magazine and other resources. See this page for the benefits on offer from CMI to studying members: study-support. Assessment Feedback and Storage Continuous access to support from a suitable tutor is provided for the duration of study. Once a learner s ongoing work has been uploaded and submitted via KBProfessional Advanced Management Platform, or send by to tutor, will provide a response within two weeks. Once a learner s final assignment for a unit has been uploaded and submitted via KBProfessional Advanced Management Platform, the turnaround time for assessment is up to 4- weeks. Work will be assessed against the learning outcomes for each unit as specified by the Chartered Management Institute, using the relevant Assessment Criteria. will store and protect work on a secure online environment.

01 All materials, methods of delivery and assessment conform to CMI Approved Centre Standards and expectations. Learner responsibilities Self Study It is expected that learners will actively pursue study on a self-led basis, however there are also calendar reminder options in each study unit on KBProfessional Advanced Management Platform. With qualifications, the more a learner puts in, the more they get out. To truly take advantage of the benefits, it is important for learners to engage fully with the materials recommended for each study unit and to focus on how the techniques, theories, methods, models and tools suggested could apply in a business environment. The Assignment Brief and Good Practice Guide will focus on this practical, real world application for business benefit. In our view, the qualification and CV points are important, but it is what learners do with the knowledge gained, that really counts. Assurance on the Authenticity of Work All learners under a programme are required to agree to the full terms and conditions of using the KBProfessional Advanced Management Platform and learning materials, including but not limited to copyright infringement and online discussion usage. Learners are asked to accept s terms and conditions during the online enrolment process. Acceptance of all terms and conditions will be formally requested, however if not received will be deemed as understood, accepted and binding after (seven) days of receipt. As part of the terms and condition of undertaking a learning programme, learners automatically verify that all work undertaken and submitted is their own original work. Plagiarism is a very serious offence. Learners will be required to declare a statement of authenticity at the time of assignment submission for each unit. Any work found to be plagiarised will constitute a breach of policy and will be rejected. Learners will not be allowed to apply for, or undertake any further work or use any of s learning materials or platforms. Any Qualifications awarded will be rescinded and no refund will be available. A full report will be made to the Chartered Management Institute and there will be the right to appeal. New learners, or those unfamiliar with the standards of academic study, should familiarise themselves with the meaning of plagiarism. reserves the right to use any methods it deems appropriate to ensure the originality of work submitted to the portal.

ASSESMENT METHODS Optional Learning Seminars Optional Presentation to Peers MANDATOY 2,00-3,00 Written Assignment Optional eflective Statement Optional Tutor Discussion Assessment is via a blend of written work, learning seminars, integrated work activities including presentation to peers or colleagues, and tutor discussion. Of these only the written assignment is actively assessed by tutors and is mandatory for all learners and for all units. Although optional, recommends the other methods of assessment as means of enriching the learning experience and assuring learners take the most insight and value from qualifications. Mandatory Written Assignment For each unit studied, learners will be required to produce a 2,00 3,00 word assignment demonstrating their grasp and appreciation of the concepts underpinning the learning outcomes of the unit. The requirements and instructions for the written work are set out in the Assignment Brief and Good Practice Guide within each unit on the KBProfessional Advanced Management Platform. In their written work, learners will be encouraged to discuss the strengths and weaknesses of the concepts studied for the unit, discuss case studies from industry, reflect on their own organisation (where relevant) and reference other course materials that are useful in achieving the Learning Outcome.

01 Optional eflective Statement Learners are encouraged to produce a reflective statement of around 300 words that describes the value to them and their organisation of undertaking the qualification. This statement is not formally assessed but may be discussed during the end of qualification discussion with their tutor. The purpose of the reflective statement is to encourage personal reflection and personal action on the part of the learner to benefit their own performance and their organisation, which may have funded the qualification. Optional Learning Seminars Learners may be invited to take part in learning seminars covering concepts relevant to the unit/s they are studying. The costs of these seminars are additional to the cost of the qualification and the seminars are optional. Learners who attend additional seminars would be encouraged to reference the content of, and what they learned at the seminar/s in their written assignment/s. Optional Presentation to Peers/Colleagues Learners are encouraged to produce a short presentation on the key concepts studied during the unit and their relevance to the continued improvement of their own performance in their current or desired future role and the performance of their organisation. The act of producing a brief presentation can be a good way of ensuring the learner has fully grasped the essence of concepts and how they apply in the real world. The act of preparing for and presenting findings to colleagues or peers is a valuable exercise in building and clarifying an argument or point of view. Tutor Feedback Learners will receive feedback on their work via , telephone and potentially at face to face meetings during seminars, as appropriate to the individual s requirements. Work Assessment Criteria and Learning Outcomes Work will be assessed by tutors and a pass or fail will be awarded according to whether the learning outcomes required by the study unit have been met. tutors will refer to the Assessment Criteria linked to each Learning Outcome and examine whether written work meets each outcome and criteria.

It is essential that learners study the Assignment Brief and Good Practice Guide for each unit at the beginning of study and regularly thereafter to ensure ongoing studies and written assignments focus on and demonstrate clear evidence of meeting each learning outcome and criteria. All work must be submitted in the English language. In addition to the specific Assessment Criteria in each unit, the learner s work must be: accurate, current and authentic relevant in depth and breadth Work must also show: clear grasp of concepts ability to link theory to practice, and ability to communicate clearly in the relevant discipline at the expected level for the qualification. Assignment Submission As operates a predominantly online, distance learning model, all work is submitted via the KBProfessional Advanced Management Platform and includes an automatic , alerting your tutor to your progress. It is possible to submit early drafts of written work for interim guidance from tutors, before submitting final work. Interim assessment is encouraged, particularly for learners undertaking multiple units. esponse time for a final assessment will depend upon whether it applies to an Award, Certificate, Diploma or Extended Diploma and reserves the right to vary these. However, an approximate timeframe will be supplied upon submission. Individual units may be awarded a pass or fail and learners will be provided with feedback and the opportunity to resubmit.

01 LEANE SUPPOT Types of Support s predominantly online, distance learning model offers support for individuals at times that suit them. Upon enrolling for a unit, an online form is provided that prompts learners to make contact with a tutor. Any questions or advice can be obtained directly from the KBProfessional Advanced Management Platform. tutors can also be reached via at any time or by phone, via booked time slots. from time to time, organise facilitated Learning Seminar sessions to support learning outcomes. The frequency and timings of these sessions vary with demand from the current cohort of learners and the focus of their studies. Learning Seminars will be advertised via the portal and in sufficient time to allow learners to apply to attend and places will be allocated on a first come, first served basis. Service Level Agreements We are committed to responding to learner queries as promptly as possible. Should online support not be available for any reason, we can be contacted via telephone on Whilst we will endeavour to answer all questions immediately, if for example a tutor is unavailable, it may be necessary to schedule another time for the query to be answered in full by phone or . Our expected response time in such a situation will be clarified at the time of the support request being made. Contact Information For any questions, or if anything is not clear about learner responsibilities on a Programme, clarification must be sought by contacting via any of the following methods: By Post: Limited 1 Highbury Place London N 1QP. By phone: By Qualifications@.com

GLOSSAY OF TEMS Assessment Criteria Provides learners with a framework of how work will be assessed and what they need to do to achieve the qualification. Assignment Brief and Good Practice Guide Learners will find one document per unit that is studied. The document gives guidance to learners on meeting learning outcomes and points out many of the relevant sources needed to produce a successful report. CMI - The Chartered Management Institute (CMI) is an accredited professional institution for management based in the United Kingdom, dedicated to promoting the highest standards in management and leadership excellence. Credit value - specifies the number of credits that will be awarded to a learner who has achieved the learning outcomes of the unit. The credit value of the unit will remain constant in all contexts, regardless of the assessment method used or the qualification(s) to which it contributes. Learners will only be awarded credits for the successful completion of whole units. (One credit is awarded for those learning outcomes achievable in 10 hours of learning time). Learning Outcomes Statements that describe what a learner will be able to do as a result of taking the qualification. Learning time is a notional measure of the amount of time a typical learner might be expected to take to complete all of the learning relevant to achievement of the learning outcomes in a given unit. Learning time includes activities such as directed study, assessment, tutorials, mentoring and individual private study. National Occupational Standards (NOS) - National Occupational Standards (NOS) are statements of the standards of performance individuals must achieve when carrying out functions in the workplace, together with specifications of the underpinning knowledge and understanding. Ofqual The Office of Qualifications and Examinations egulation (Ofqual) regulates qualifications, examinations and assessments in England and vocational qualifications in Northern Ireland. Qualifications and Credit Framework (QCF) - The Qualifications and Credit Framework (QCF) is a new credit transfer system which has replaced the National Qualification Framework (NQF). It recognises qualifications and units by awarding credits. Since each unit has a credit value and the credits can be transferred, the system gives the learners the ability to get qualifications at their own pace. Qualification eference Number - The number allocated to the qualification by the egulator at the time of accreditation, which confirms that this is a fundable qualification on the QCF.
