1 Notice for completeness of SMART onboarding of Training Providers recommended under RFP-PMKVY Date: With reference to the recommendation of Training Providers as per RFP-PMKVY ( the list of Training Providers mentioned in this notice have not registered all Training Centers (recommended under RFP-PMKVY ) on SMART Portal as on 15 th January SMART Accreditation and Affiliation is a mandatory process for TPs under Short Term Training (PMKVY) and hence, the TPs mentioned in this notice are requested to complete the SMART Accreditation and Affiliation process for all Training Centers recommended under RFP-PMKVY as soon as possible. The TPs list mentioned in the Annexure -I of this notice are requested to complete registration process and pay inspection fees for all Training Centers recommended under RFP-PMKVY by 31st January 2019 and the TPs list mentioned in the Annexure-II of this notice shall complete the same by 5 th February, In case of not meeting this deadline, necessary action(s) would be taken including but not limited to revocation of the target related to RFP-PMKVY The SMART process may be found below. 2 Kindly refer below process on SMART onboarding: SMART Centre Accreditation and Affiliation is a one stop IT platform for Accreditation and Affiliation of training Centers through a Grading process. Centre Accreditation process in SMART through a third-party Desk Assessment and physical inspection ensures that the TC has met prescribed quality standards, as determined by NSDC and the respective Sector Skill Councils (SSCs). Please find below step by step process involved in the Centre Accreditation & Affiliation process: Step 1: Training Provider (TP) Registration: Basic details of the TP to be filled in for TP registration. This registration will be valid for 3 years. Step 2: Training Centre (TC) creation and Centre Accreditation Application Form (CAAF) submission: Stage 1: Training Centre (TC) fills the CAAF and submits the CAAF registration fees. Inspection Agency conducts Desktop Assessment (DA). Once a TC is Deemed Ready, a Letter of Registration (LOR) is generated for that TC. Stage 2: Post issue of LOR, if the TC is empaneled or recommended by any scheme/ agency, the TC gets their Recommendation approved by the concerned scheme and further applies for physical inspection. If the physical inspection aligns with DA, Inspection Agency recommends the TC for Accreditation or Conditional Accreditation with respective SSC for a final review and status updating. Step 3: Training Centre (TC) Accreditation: The respective SSC reviews the inspection report of the Training Centre and accords the TC with Accreditation/ Conditional Accreditation status and TC receives an accreditation certificate. TC Accreditation is valid for 1 year. Step 4: Training Centre (TC) Affiliation: After getting accredited/conditionally accredited status from SSC, the TC applies for Affiliation for accredited Job Roles and pays a) Continuous Monitoring fees and b) Affiliation fees.
