1 Academic Services Group SY13-14 National Professional Development K 12 National Professional Development (NPD) is considered an ongoing and yearlong experience. School leaders and teachers are afforded opportunities to participate in synchronous and asynchronous training and professional development throughout the year. Teachers can monitor and maintain their training and professional development plan through K12Training.com and provide verification of module completion to their training managers and/or administrators as needed. Similarly, School leaders can monitor and maintain the professional development outlined below within K12Training.com. Additional training for School Leaders (K12 Employees) is available via Skillsport, the HR training portal. K12training and Skillsport are separate sites with different content. Within K12Training.com each of these events will be created as a Virtual Event. Enrolled participants will see the session listed on My Upcoming Training. To find the link to trainings you ll go to your upcoming trainings list, find the desired training by name, click on the name of the training and then select the grey circle "i" icon on the right hand side of the screen. It ll open a details screen where you can view the details of the training. You will be able to access the training by selecting the access webinar button. The access webinar button only shows 24 hours in advance of the session. The link will not be available without enrollment.
