2 Mission East Central College will provide an environment for lifelong learning. Vision East Central College will connect its community to its future. The East Central College Strategic Plan outlines 6 overarching goals that focus on: Student Success (goal 1) Student Support Services (goal 2) Academic Affairs (goal 3) Community Leadership & Collaboration (goal 4) Institutional Environment (goal 5) Facilities & Grounds (goal 6) Strategic Plan Goals Goal 1: Continuously improve processes and programs to recruit and retain successful students. Goal 2: Continuously improve the quality, effectiveness and awareness of student support services. Goal 3: Continuously assess and improve academic programs and curriculum. Goal 4: Continuously improve ECC through educational programs, events and partnerships for the community. Goal 5: Continuously improve human, physical and financial resources. Goal 6: Maintain, improve and expand facilities to provide a safe and effective learning environment. Page 1
