3 ART & CRAFTS Art History - The story of Impressionism told through its artists Dressmaking for Beginners Adult & Community Learning art courses focus on learning, enjoyment and personal development. 10 WOODWORK & ENGINEERING VENUE ADDRESSES Engineering Open Access This course provides access to an engineering workshop with a wide range of equipment to enable students to complete their projects, for example turning, milling and fitting. 11 COURSE FEES Fees are payable at time of enrolment Direct Debit Instalment Plans This facility is available for courses over 10 weeks in duration with fees over 200. A 25% deposit is required at enrolment, followed by 3 equal instalments, usually commencing one month after the course start date. Prior to the College agreeing to an instalment plan, the college will undertake a credit check which carries a non-refundable charge of 30. The University Centre The Direct Debit Guarantee Centre Standard Cancellation Charge and Refunds It is not College policy to issue refunds unless it has been necessary to cancel the course and a substitute alternative is not available. No refunds will be initiated if classes are cancelled due to circumstances beyond our control. If the decision to withdraw from the course is that of the student, either prior to or within the first two weeks of the course commencing, a Standard Cancellation Charge of 30 will always be payable. Students who withdraw after the first two weeks will be required to pay the full fee. Please note that there may be circumstances in which there are insufficient fee paying students to allow the course to be run. In these instances the College reserves the right to cancel the course. A full refund will be paid if this situation occurs. Fees quoted are for the academic year 2016/17. The College reserves its right to increase these in future years. 19 This Guarantee is offered by all Banks and Building Societies that accept instructions to pay Direct Debits If there are any changes to the amount, date or frequency of your Direct Debit, Northbrook College Sussex will notify you 10 working days in advance of your account being debited or as otherwise agreed. If you request Northbrook College Sussex to collect a payment, confirmation of the amount and date will be given to you at the time of the request. If an error is made in the payment of your Direct Debit, by Northbrook College Sussex or your bank or building society, you are entitled to a full and immediate refund of the amount paid from your bank or building society. If you receive a refund you are not entitled to, you must pay it back when Northbrook College asks you to.
