Our conference and annual meeting this year will be held in Toronto at George Brown College on June 3 rd and 4 th, We have scheduled the CAAHP Conference to immediately precede the ACCC s annual conference in Niagara Falls. The agenda will focus on important current issues that affect us as leaders in health care education. The topic, Health Care Education: How the World is Changing is particularly relevant given the demand for health care professionals to hit the ground running upon graduation. The world is changing and we are facing issues as you know, that we could never have envisioned years ago: from pandemics to placements. This meeting will explore some of the following: Dealing with crisis and the lessons we have learned: The Dawson College Experience We will explore the implementation of IPE and making it work! Does simulation shorten the time to competence? What did the ACCC/Collaborative Forum study on simulation show? Our keynote Max Valiquette will present on Dealing with Today s Students followed by a panel that will reflect on understanding today s student from the point of view of faculty, students support and students themselves. Allow you an opportunity to network with your colleagues across the country to share ideas and to exchange information. As you can see, we have a comprehensive and meaningful program for your participation and consideration. We look forward to hearing from our expert presenters, sharing our learnings and best practices and leaving the meeting with some clear to dos.
