34 34 FAFSA- Free Application for Federal Student Aid The FAFSA (Free Application For Federal Student Aid) is filed BETWEEN October 1, 2017-March 2, The earlier the better since some school-based aid is competitive and can run out, but accurate income and tax information is required. If you plan on continuing your formal education after high school, you should complete a FAFSA form during Jan/February of your Senior Year. The deadline is on March 2, 2018.
