1 INDIAN COUNCIL OF MEDICAL RESEARCH ANSARI NAGAR, NEW DELHI Applications are invited for the following posts, to be filled purely on temporary basis at ICMR Hqrs. Office, New Delhi under the project entitled Data Management Unit of Implementation Research under National Mental Health Programme under Dr. Harpreet Singh, Informatics, System and Research Management (ISRM), ICMR HQRS, New Delhi The Terms & Conditions for the post are as follows: a) Consultant - Unreserved (1 post) (Rs.1,00,000/-p.m.) b) Scientist-D - Unreserved (1 posts) (Rs.67,000/- pm + HRA) c) Scientist-C - Unreserved (2 posts) (Rs.48,000/- p.m. +HRA) d) Research Assistant - Reserved for SC/ST/OBC (1 post) (Rs.31,000/- pm) 1. The post is to be filled up on purely temporary basis and will be initially for a period of one year. 2. The appointment can be terminated with one month notice from either side without assigning any reason. 3. Since, the post is purely temporary, the incumbents selected will have no claim for regular appointments under ICMR or continuation of his/her services in any other project. 4. Benefits of Provident fund, CCA, Leave Travel Concession, Medical claim etc. are not applicable. 5. Age relaxation is for SC, ST & OBC candidates as per Govt. Rules. No Age relaxation against the Unreserved vacancies as per Govt. of India order No.36011/1/98/Estt(Res) dated 1/7/ No TA/DA etc. will be given to attend the Interview or joining of post and candidate should make his/her own arrangement for stay for interview and joining of post. 7. Qualification and experience should be from a reputed organization. 8. Experience will be counted only after completion of minimum educational qualification. 9. Mere fulfilling the essential qualification does not guarantee for the interview call and selection. 10. Canvassing in any form will be a disqualification. 11. Persons already in regular time scale service under any government Department/ Organizations are not eligible to apply. 12. Consolidated salary of each post may be revised as per ICMR instructions. 13. Separate application should be submitted for each post. 14. PhD or MD degree in subjects relevant to Indian Council of Medical Research shall be treated equivalent to three years of experience respectively. Submitted applications will be screened as per Essential qualification & Desirable qualification and shortlisted candidates will be invited through /mobile for a written examination based on merit in the written examination, 10 candidates will be invited for interview at ICMR Hqrs. The date and time of interview will be intimated through /website. The selected candidates will work in the project mentioned above and on any other work that may be assigned by the Principal Investigator from time to time.

3 INDIAN COUNCIL OF MEDICAL RESEARCH ANSARI NAGAR, NEW DELHI Informatics, System Research & Management (ISRM) DETAILS OF POSITIONS Consultant (Technical Advisor) (One post) Professionals with MD or Ph.D in Life Sciences/Bio Sciences or relevant subject from a recognized University and publish papers. Retired Government employee with requisite educational qualification drawing pay in the Pay Band Rs Grade Pay of Rs.6600/- at the time of retirement and having adequate working experience in the required field. Age Limit: Not exceeding 70 years. Desirable Qualification/ Experience: Experience in translational research science, project planning and evaluation. Good writing/communication skills in the related field Knowledge of Computer applications, handling Databases and Data systems. Ten years Medical/Biomedical related research experience. Having knowledge of Translational Research, Project Planning. Knowledge in Technology assessment. Responsibilities: Supervise the project, Administrative responsibilities including conduct of Internal Meetings and Advisory Board Meetings. Constitution of Advisory Committee To organize workshop and conferences in the related field. Any other work assigned by the Head, Division of ISRM from time to time. Salary: Max. Rs.1,00,000/-p.m. depending upon experience and knowledge.

4 Scientist-D (Medical) (One post) Post graduate degree (MD/MS/DNB) after MBBS with five year R&D/teaching experience in the mental health and related discipline from recognized university. Post graduate diploma in medical subjects after MBBS with six years R&D/teaching experience in the mental health and related discipline from recognized university. MBBS degree recognized by MCI or equivalent degree from recognized university with 8 years R&D/teaching experience in the mental health and related discipline after MBBS Degree. Desirable Qualification/ Experience: MD in the Mental Health and related discipline from a recognized university for candidates with first class relevant degree. Additional Post-doctoral research/teaching experience in Mental Health and related discipline in recognized institute(s). Age Limit: Not exceeding 45 years. Age relaxation is for SC, ST & OBC candidates as per Govt. Rules. No Age relaxation against the Unreserved vacancies as per Govt. of India order No.36011/1/98/Estt(Res) dated 1/7/1998. Notes: 1. MD/MS/MDS/PhD in the relevant subject shall be treated equivalent to three years experience. 2. Postgraduate Diploma in medical subjects in the Mental Health and related discipline shall be treated equivalent to two years experience. 5 Scientist C (Non-Medical) (Two posts) 1 st Class Master s Degree or equivalent from a recognized university in Computer Science with 4 years R&D/Teaching experience. 2 nd Class M.Sc.+Ph.D degree from a recognized university in Computer Science with 4 years R&D/Teaching experience and related discipline after M.Sc. + Ph.D. B.E. (Computer Science)/B.Tech (Computer Science) from a recognized University with 6 years of experience or equivalent degree from a recognized University. Desirable Qualification/Experience: Ph.D. candidates will be given preference. Doctorate or M.Tech Degree in Computer Science or relevant subject from a recognized University. Additional Post-Doctoral research/teaching experience in Computer Science and related discipline in recognized institute(s). Strong Knowledge of android, PHP and web development. Strong Knowledge of working and development in LINUX environment Knowledge of MySQL, POSTGRE, NoSQL. Duties/Responsibilities: Providing data management and analysis services requested by the users of the Centre. Work on collaborative research projects initiated by the Exploratory Team. Providing technical support to the Exploratory Team (if required). Age Limit: Not exceeding 40 years. Age relaxation is for SC, ST & OBC candidates as per Govt. Rules.
