Mean Grade Point Average (GPA) shows the mean GPA of students completing the program and those completing all programs in the college for the last six academic years. The means do not include the GPAs of those who did not complete the program and those who continue to pursue their degree. The university uses a 4.0 grade scale. Annual Unduplicated Headcount shows the six-year annual headcount enrollment of students attending the program in a given year. The counts represents unique students enrolled in a given year. Students enrolling in multiple semesters in a given year are counted once. Students enrolled in multiple years are counted in each year attended. The counts include a student s gender as reported to the institution. Those electing to not report their gender are proportionally distributed by those who did report. Race and ethnicity counts represent the categories indicated by students at time of enrollment. If a student identified with Hispanic ethnicity, the student was included in the Hispanic counts and not counted in the other race categories provided. Annual Unduplicated Headcount by Student Classification shows the distribution of enrollments by students classification (freshman, sophomore, junior, senior, post-baccalaureate, and graduate). 2 Table 7. Fall Number of Applied, Admitted, and Enrolled Students shows the number of applicants, admissions, and new enrollments to the program for the last six years. Applied and admitted only includes students who indicated the program was their intended program when applying to the university. Those enrolled include students who elected the major when applying or when enrolling. Difference indicates students who changed their degree between application and registration Applied Admitted Enrolled Difference Table 8. Student Retention Rates. Fall-to-fall retention rates shown in Table 8 include the percentage of students first enrolled in the fall semester who persisted to the following fall semester. Semesters-to-Degree. The number of semesters students take to complete the program, shown in Table 9, includes the students who completed in the academic year indicated. The average excludes semesters attended by persisting students or those no longer enrolled. In some cases, a completer s first-time-in-college or first-timetransfer record will have been reported by our parent institution. Those students are excluded from these means. Semester-To-Degree Table 10. Annual Degrees Awarded shows annual degrees awarded by the program for the last six academic years. Semester credit hours attended by students who declared the program as their major in the given academic year are shown in Table 11 by students enrollment classification. Hours include all class enrollments by the students and not just those classes identified for the program (electives and courses required for minors). Semester Credit Hours Generated by Program Courses provides a list of the courses taught in the program and the total semester credit hours for student attendance. Hours include those taught to students both in and out of the program. (See next sheet for table) Table 13. Sections Held for Program Courses indicates the number of sections of program courses offered each academic year. These sections are offered to students both in and out of the program. (See third sheet in workbook for table) Table 14. University Unduplicated Headcount by Gender and Level includes the university headcount by gender and level using the same methods of disaggregation described for program headcount as a point of comparison.
