NEW LIFE TEMPLE CHURCH New Life Temple Church (NLT) was established by Pastor Ralph Godfrey Sr. in February Since its inception, the church has been a place where people come to worship a true, and living God, and for well over forty years, through scripturally based training programs, has been a school of learning, helping thousands of people, throughout Cincinnati, become strong and steadfast in their walk with God. Never forgetting its purpose, NLT Church is diligent to do its part to promote, and establish the Kingdom of God in the earth. The goal at NLT is to lead men, and women, to Christ, the truth, and the life, by expressing the love of God, preaching a sound gospel message, and living so we display the real meaning of life in God's Kingdom. OUR VISION: To be a LIGHT in our local community, the city of Cincinnati, and the nations, through preaching the gospel, equipping the saints, teaching and healing the sick. OUR MISSION: Restoration of life through...p.r.e.e.c.h Preaching and teaching people about the Kingdom of God Returning to the true emphasis of worship Evangelizing and making disciples, in our community, city, state, nation, and throughout the world. 4 NEW LIFE TEMPLE BIBLE COLLEGE & LEADERSHIP INSTITUTE New Life Temple Bible College is a four-year theological college where students can earn undergraduate or graduate degree credits in theological and ministerial studies. We opened our doors in September 2004, to serve nontraditional students from Greater Cincinnati, Indiana, and Kentucky, and started the Leadership institute program in August Designed to affect the 21st Century culture the institute enables, and empowers leaders, and laity desiring to be leaders, to go and DO the work of the Kingdom in this age. NLTBC has exceptional faculty and staff, who are experienced, and capable of facilitating your knowledge, revelation, and extraordinary GOD experience, that will help you reach the master plan HE has established for your life. OUR MISSION: Develop Godly practitioners through T.E.A.M Teach scripturally based instruction, using theological and secular concepts and theories from leading Christian and secular authors. Equip the saints with the necessary knowledge to combat adversarial messages and promote the gospel of Christ. Activate the leadership Calling and cultivate people of character, integrity, and excellence. Mentor men, and women, that recognize the Call of GOD on their lives into ministry, helping them develop their spiritual gifts. We invite you to give NLTBC the opportunity to help you gain the experience of a lifetime, which will equip you to change the world around you. Trust me, once you partake of the knowledge of God s extraordinary Kingdom, you will not be disappointed. Dr. Ralph Godfrey Sr. President, NLTBC

IT IS THE GOAL OF NLTBC TO: IMPART INTEGRITY Sometimes those who possess the skills of a leader may still lack an understanding of the integrity needed to uphold the responsibility of the office. NLTBC teaches scriptural principles of integrity to assist all individuals to develop Godly character. ENCOURAGE GROWTH Personal growth is the desire of most people seeking higher education. Our goal is to encourage both your personal and spiritual growth. We know that each step toward personal and spiritual maturity will help accomplish a lifestyle of success. PROVIDE STRENGTH Often times individuals who serve in ministry while attempting to gain a higher education, may become a little weary. NLTBC strives to strengthen the individual through a network of faculty and students, and instill the ability to combat both personal and spiritual fatigue. PROMOTE UNITY One of Jesus last prayers was That we become one as He and the Father are one. To embrace this prayer we teach the importance of unity among our students. We are also careful to promote this philosophy in our church, institution, and throughout the entire Body of Christ. IN LOVE This is the command given to the church, and each of NLTBC espoused goals is exemplified through love; we love what we do, express the love of Christ to our students, and equip them to take it to the world.

NLTBC ACADEMIC PROGRAMS: BIBLICAL STUDIES PROGRAM (Associate Program) The Biblical Studies Program provides the student with a thorough knowledge, and clear understanding of the Scriptures. This program focuses on interpreting the literary, historical, and theological context of Scriptures. Courses will explore the meaning of the text as well as the intention, and audience of the original writers. Students should expect to receive sound biblical teaching, and acquire the skills necessary to handle the Word of God with accuracy for themselves, and others through teaching, preaching, assisting, and building the Kingdom of God in the earth. THEOLOGY PROGRAM (Undergraduate and Graduate Program) Theology is a comprehensive study of spiritual, biblical, and theological issues of doctrine concerning God and His many attributes. It is an ample attempt to answer the basic questions that people everywhere often ask concerning the God of the Bible. The Theology Program at NLTBC will help students explore the relevant teaching of God, His attributes, and many other theological topics. Students will discover, and be challenged to appreciate the complexities of the Living God. Students should expect to attain an assured, profound, knowledge of God, and be able to apply their acquired skills toward any field of ministry. PASTORAL MINISTRY PROGRAM (Undergraduate and Graduate Program) NLTBC believes that ministry requires a sound biblical, and theological foundation. Proper preparation is essential to a minister s success. Designed to prepare students for ministry this program trains individuals in several areas: spiritual development, development of a personal relationship with God, and people, leadership effectiveness, and cultivation of ministry. Students should expect to develop strong spiritual, and theological fundamentals needed to build the qualifications necessary for ministry. When the program is completed, students should have the necessary tools to implement, develop, maintain, and encourage ministry whether in the role of a leader, or as laity, in any organization, or church. As practicum experience, this program requires two (2) years of pastoral mentoring, or working as part of a ministry team.

BIBLE COLLEGE CREDIT PROGRAMS: Associate 60 credit hour, 2-year program, leading to an Associate Advanced Associate 90 credit hour, 3-year program, leading to an Associate Bachelors 120 credit hour, 4-year program, leading to a Bachelor of Science Masters credit hour, 1 ½ year program leading to a Master s of Science Because we are a theological training program, no liberal arts or sciences are required; however, we do accept basic liberal arts courses from other institutions for credit. NLTBC IS AN INTENSE PROGRAM OF STUDY Accreditation is about the standards of a quality education, and requires specific in-class and out-of-class study requirements. In order for an institution to issue 3 semester hours per 4 to 8-week course the instructional period, and periods of study, must approximate a 60-minute class, per week, on a 14-week calendar. The accepted standard is, each in-class hour of course work requires 2 hours of preparation, or other outside work (8 hours). To satisfy semester hour requirements each NLTBC course requires, as part of the course work, a 1,500 word research paper, or 3,000 word Thesis with a specific number of outside reading sources. LEADERSHIP TRAINING PROGRAM: (NON-DEGREE CREDITS) 2 9 month programs designed for ministry leaders to: understand followership assess their own capabilities as a leader adjust their beliefs, ethics, values, and character where necessary and perform the vital work of ministering to the lost, and the saints in their own unique church environment. 15 TEXTBOOKS Most undergraduate classes require at least one textbook. Textbook prices vary, but the average cost per class is approximately $ Some classes like Systematic Theology may require a more costly textbook; however, most theological textbooks are under $ Required texts will be available for purchased at the college in advance of the student s class. Master s students are responsible for obtaining their books, because numerous books will be required for each research, and writing project. Students are encouraged to borrow books from the library to keep costs down, and we will be happy to teach you how to do that. Additionally, computers are welcomed in the classroom, and most bible college students will need access to a computer to facilitate completion of required coursework and papers. Students will also have access NLTBC s library, which is limited, but has a selection of research books and magazines. GETTING STARTED AT NLTBC NLTBC classes are Thursday evenings from 6:30 pm to 10:00 pm, and both college and leadership program classes are four (4) weeks in length. The school year constitutes nine (9) courses. Registration is rolling, meaning a student may enter at any time. An enrollment package may be obtained online at or by mail, writing to the address on the last page of this catalog. You may also visit the website at any time or the college at 4837 Ward Street, Cincinnati, Ohio, (Madisonville), and register for classes. Students who desire to begin in the fall of 2014 will begin Thursday, August 29, 2014, and end Thursday, May 28, The 2014 course schedule may be viewed online after August 14, Because of our intense program, and accreditation standards, individual s applying for firsttime admission to NLTBC may need to complete an assessment exam to determine theological understanding, along with grammar and writing competency, to indicate whether there is a need for additional competency training.

TUITION AND FEES Our Low Tuition Philosophy NLTBC s philosophy is a quality, spiritual, education that trains an individual for service to God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, should not leave that individual with an oppressive financial debt. Accordingly, we have not sought the extremely costly state and regional accreditation that leads to qualification for government-guaranteed student loans, and other government programs. Institutions using such loans generally charge the maximum tuition allowable, leaving the student with a sizable debt at the completion of their education. For those called to the ministry, it can be very difficult to obey God s calling with this type of debt hindering their finances and ministry options. Our fees are a fraction of the cost of most secular, or theological university programs, without sacrificing the quality. Entering students may pay each year s tuition in full, or make a down payment with monthly payments, which allows budget flexibility and complete program fee payments one month before the end of each year. Our approach provides the most affordable, quality, spiritual education that we can as a ministry to the Lord, and His servants. UNDERGRADUATE PROGRAMS Associates Degree and Bachelor Degree. The cost of 1 year of undergraduate studies at NLT Bible College is $1,350.00; or $ deposit and $ per month. Graduation fee is $ Associate program full fees $2, Advanced Associate (3-year) program full fees $4, Baccalaureate program full fees $5, MASTER S PROGRAM Much of the Master s program is independent study; therefore, students who wish to make flexible payments must arrange their payment program with the Dean, and Registrar upon acceptance into the program. Graduation fee is $ Master s 21 credit hour NLTBC graduate program $5, Master s 36 credit hour program $6, Master s Thesis & Presentation Fee $ * This fee does not include Thesis binding* or student travel, if required applicable. LEADERSHIP TRAINING PROGRAM Monthly Fee - $35.00/mo. or per course AUDIT CLASSES Monthly Fee - $75.00/mo. or per course MINISTERIAL LIFE EXPERIENCE EVALUATION FEE $250.00
